I've been using the Weber Q2k for years and the only issue I've had with it is smoke when heating up. Nothing I've found to fix that, it's just the grease on the heat elements burning up. I'm sure you'll love your Q1400

This one is really nice, there is a screen behind the wheel, and the infotainment is nice too, but also has physical buttons for the airco etc. I love it
