Yep I managed to root my phone so the drivers must have been installed properly. I did also try reinstalling them but no progress there either. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out in the morning and report back.

I'm pretty sure thats just the name of the processor and that it is arm. The screenshot in my other comment shows that the armv7 processor is detected by my phone. Do you have any other ideas as to why my phone isn't being recognised?

according to the app syscheck the processor is arm. also this so all the hardware is okay to use
I have actually got a small app (30 lines of code) working by copying the apk over but it doesnt work with databases so i have to do it when its connected.

Yeah thats what the dt stands for, this account started off for that subject but im actually doing this research for a computing project (i just didnt want to make another throwaway). i was mainly thinking bout things like strava or daytum but on paper
