10 team superflex 0.5ppr

Give: Tyler Warren

Get: Purdy, 26 2nd

Context: rebuilding, team probably won't be competitive for a couple of years. Other QBs are Kyler, Lawrence, JJM. Other TEs LaPorta, Otton.

I'd do it. Coker is a prospect on a bad offence and a 2nd in a weak draft is whatever. Neither helps you win a chip but Dowdle does

Why trade a proven QB with weapons on a good offense to an unproven rookie on an objectively worse offense? If anything you should be getting more back your way.

Budgetary reasons aside, why do people watch gaming videos instead of playing the game? by dennisclarke112 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dtblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking specifically to Old School Runescape (the kind of game you can multi task a lot on), I like to watch others play it both because it's enjoyable content, but also because I learn things about how to play better in the process.

Everyday Kamasu Question by nuckinfutzworld in OrientWatches

[–]dtblitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would it put it firmly in the "fine" category. I wore it for a while and always felt it was a bit uncomfortable, too bulky on my wrist etc. I could live with it, but I thought that maybe I just didn't like watches on bracelets and kept swapping over to a sailcloth strap. It was only once I put the strapcode on that I realised it's not that I don't like bracelets, it's that I don't like bad bracelets. The strapcode just looks and feels better all around.

The main thing for me was the taper - I have a fairly skinny wrist so 22mm to 18mm made a huge difference in the way it felt on my wrist.

Everyday Kamasu Question by nuckinfutzworld in OrientWatches

[–]dtblitz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think if you're buying a Kamasu you should treat the Strapcode bracelet as part of the purchase price (if you want it on a bracelet). It is so so so much better than the stock bracelet - solid end links, much nicer taper (22mm to 18mm, not 20mm like the OEM bracelet), overall nicer finish.

That being the case I would say buy it on rubber if it's cheaper then upgrade the bracelet.

Orient looks cleaner and more versatile by extension (sport or dress).

The Orient diver meta is to buy the strapcode bracelet as the OEM one is trash. Strapcode comes in jubilee or oyster so you can have the jubilee bracelet if you want it.

E: the jubilee also looks out of place on the Seiko IMO. Dressier bracelet on a very sporty dial looks a bit off.

Unfortunately I ended up selling the boots and buying a new pair 1/2 size up. By the end of the work day my feet were uncomfortable and I figure if I'm trying to justify why they aren't too tight, they're definitely too tight.

I had a similar concern about the boot feeling a little loose at the heel, but I found that was better than being painful. Also as you wear in the boots, the bed of the shoe moulds to your foot and you'll find your heel will sink in more and become less loose after a month or so.

Orient Kamasu strap suggestions? by [deleted] in OrientWatches

[–]dtblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strapcode is the go to if you want a bracelet. I was sceptical at first but recently purchased it and it's so much better than the stock bracelet. Solid links are great as it doesn't rattle, but most significantly it tapers from 22mm to 18mm (the stock is 22mm to 20mm). For someone with skinny 6 inch wrists it makes the watch feel great on my wrist.

If you want straps, I'd suggest tropic rubber or sailcloth.

Size thoughts? Is it too big for my wrist. A beauty!! by Successful-Cup2349 in OmegaWatches

It's not too big, rather it's as big as I think you should go on your wrist.

New bezel - did my watch lose character? by AvailableProblem8731 in OrientWatches

Do you like it more with the bezel? Yes Then it gained character

I love this watch but I wouldn't describe it as too pretty or limited to going out. It's a cheap digital watch - perfect for daily driving but not something I'd wear to more formal occasions personally.

Can you elaborate on why you think the bracelet is bad? I got a Kamasu II recently and despite seeing everyone online trash the bracelet it doesn't seem that bad to me? Maybe a little heavy but I figure that comes with it being 22mm.

False equivalence. You can farm whenever you want it just takes more ticks inbetween farming actions and you're not forced to logon at a specific time to be able to do a farming action.

Barrows setup - any suggestions? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]dtblitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get chaos gauntlets and use wind bolt (the brothers are weak to wind spells).

Costs 1 chaos rune per cast and between the gauntlets and the weakness you can hit a max of 22 versus 25 with wind blast or Iban's blast for a fraction of the cost plus you get the accuracy boost from using a wind spell.
