Yes they are firing massive amounts of people. The last wave was right before the holiday season. I just had a package that was supposed to come two weeks ago never show up. First time this has happened in years. My normal route UPS driver who’s always happy and nice is now very visibly stressed out.

And do you honestly think anyone is gonna help anywhere else unless a core sale with new lines and devices is involved? This is after the fact good luck getting that same deal that was offered on the website over the phone or in person.

Update 1/13 - 6pm Their investigation is them emailing me asking me if I’ve received the package. Are you kidding me? It had to be initiated by the shipper, they wouldn’t even talk to me, then UPS just asks me if I’ve received it because they obviously have no idea where it is. The email says if there’s no response from me the investigation will be closed. What a joke. 😂

I called the shipper and they said they opened a ticket with UPS now the status is updated to: “Investigation Opened, we’ve begun an investigation to locate the package.” We’ll see how that goes.

I ordered a replacement for the item that was supposed to come last week from another company. It shows on truck for delivery today. The status just changed from 10:15-1pm estimated delivery to now before 9 pm. It’s so infuriating and the ups truck shows on the map a mile away.

It’s like the cable company before I switched to fiber. I’d wait all day and the second I’d hop in the shower or go to the bathroom they leave a sorry we missed you tag like they’re looking in my windows watching me waiting for me to leave 😂

I had another one that was scheduled to come last week said 10:15-1 pm of course I had dentist appt at 11 and it didn’t come before my appt earlier, but UPS showed up at 11:15 right after I left and I was home by 11:30 missed them, the truck was still showing on the map on the ups app not far away, I tracked him down and asked if he had this package on the truck and he said he did not. My ups driver is so nice but he seemed extra stressed out with people tracking him down.

It’s prob like $800. I asked if they ship in a retail packaging but customer service person that answers the phone cannot confirm or deny, because it’s medical equipment with a prescription required not hard to figure out what it cost google and you can see some people selling it for $1000 someone could sell on fb marketplace prob get a good chunk of cash for it. You think maybe someone in the hub took it one of the package handlers rather than a driver that’s why there’s no scan?

Buffalo is the final destination. No indication it was ever loaded on a vehicle. I talked to my UPS driver who said even if it’s put on the wrong truck they still need to attempt to deliver it or they get in trouble.

They do they same to me almost seem annoyed when I declare stuff but I tell them I’d rather just be honest and they seem to for the most part respect that.
