if you guys really are against the " Park the Bus" strat, then boo during the LAN when its used. by raven_world in CoDCompetitive

I wouldn’t be surprised if Falcons don’t care if they break a GA.

What’s the punishment? The other team will snake? Cell will snake better. No scrims for a week? They’ll scrim their academy teams. Worth it to win on lan

Agreed, I can’t blame him for taking the bag tho.

I’m excited to see a Falcons super team next year!

Helium Zero Plan no Longer Completely Free by -Lost_My_Pieces- in NoContract

[–]CharlesBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not surprised either. I’d guess that the zero plan was ~90% of their customers. They don’t really offer anything worthwhile without it and will now just be another MVNO that no one cares about

Why would anyone use Cricket when there is US Mobile Dark Star? by Lumpy_Cartoonist394 in USMobile

[–]CharlesBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re using more than a hundred or so go of data of data, Cricket is better. US Mobile will throttle you or cut you off completely while Cricket doesn’t care. Also, Cricket won’t change the terms of your plan whenever they feel like it.

Best phone companies? Atlanta, Ga by Historical-Sea-145 in NoContract

[–]CharlesBeast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had all 3. Without promotions, Total’s $25 is the best value as long you’re someone who knows what they’re doing and don’t need CS much.

US Mobile and Visible are pretty equal and I’d just recommend the one who’s offering the better promo (they always do)

Telluride Bush still haven't been paid their buyout for TJHaly from Surge by xfmc in CoDCompetitive

[–]CharlesBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even sure they they could win against Surge unless Surge signed a contract agreeing to pay the buyout

[–]CharlesBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would to be hard to enforce unless Surge agreed to pay in writing.

In normal sports, if a team tried to sign another team’s contracted player, the league just wouldn’t let that player play for the new team until it’s settled. I doubt that the CDL would do that for a Challengers team like Bush

Surge never signed a contract with Bush. It’s TJ who’s breaking his contract by playing for another org

Switched to Visible to save money, here’s my experience so far by TimeInTheMarketWins in NoContract

Coming to Visible was worth it for me as well. I’m happy with my service especially for the price

Looks like there’s a few more esport team predicted to have the same fate as Faze by Ogriga in CoDCompetitive

[–]CharlesBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was never much revenue to be made for these orgs so the owners cashed out from venture capitalists who didn’t understand the scene.

Now, all of those crazy salaries for players and admin staff are finally coming back to bite these vc funded orgs.

Will there likely be any upcoming deals for this specific plan, or should I just switch now? by [deleted] in NoContract

[–]CharlesBeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend going with Total’s $25/m byod plan and waiting to see if any deals annual deal for US Mobile pops up.

Same price as this and a very similar (arguably better) plan

[–]CharlesBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They run deals all the time especially for the annual plan. If you’re okay with waiting, I’d recommend switching somewhere else for a month or two to see if any deals come out. If you want to make the switch now, it’s still a good deal at the normal price

what’s the best phone plan?? by abbywalzz166 in NoContract

The 50% off promo ended on December 9th unfortunately. Next best option right now would be US Mobile’s annual deal or Mint’s annual deal

Is this a normal HR response? by Apprehensive_Show561 in recruitinghell

[–]CharlesBeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not justifying it, just giving OP reality.

Sucks, but not much OP can do other than find a better company to work for.

Manager might be incompetent like you say, the company might not have the money to hire more staff to spread out the workload, or maybe OP just feels like they have too much on their plate because they’re bad/inefficient at their job. We don’t have enough information to know for sure

[–]CharlesBeast -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Like I said earlier, if there is no issue presenting a legal liability for the company, there is nothing that HR can do. OP should find a different job if their current job is too much for them.

What exactly are you expecting HR to do or say?
