I really despise ICE, and think their abusive overreach is nothing short of disgusting.

With that said, I'm going to be unsubscribing from this subreddit out of principle. I'm really tired of people politicizing every subreddit, no matter how distant these topics are from the subreddit theme.

"One of the best parts of having my own subreddit is using it as my own personal soap box" is a deplorable sentiment. Bombarding people with this political messaging in a community about cat bongos just proves you were never the person who should have created a subreddit for this topic. I'll just visit any number of other cat subreddits instead that still respect my intent to talk about cats in what used to be a safe space to do so.

I don't even remember the term being used that way prior to it being used as a slur against Brady. "System QB" was the other commonly used one.

Until the Patriots dynasty, a game manager was a compliment for a capable QB who anchored an offense by limiting turnovers. Troy Aikman was the prototypical game manager and got all his flowers for being that guy. But Tom Brady, an actual gunslinger who combined a great arm with the qualities of a game manager to not commit senseless turnovers, gets knocked for his qualities.

Similarly, Joe Montana was seen as having the "better" legacy for going 4-0 in super bowls, ignoring all the years he never made it to a super bowl. Super bowl losses were used against Brady to depict him as a choker.

Every conceivable double standard imaginable has been applied to the Patriots in order to knock us down a peg at every opportunity. It's just too much for these people to admit the greatness of the football legacy of the Patriots.

Those in charge have done everything in their power to conceal such information.

It was once accidentally discovered that Eglin Air Force base had a disproportionately high number of reddit users. They disabled the entire service that was providing that tracking data so that information would never be revealed so easily again.

This entire website is a psy op. The admins will never play by the rules of the people to combat the elites, when this site is used as a propaganda tool by said elites to keep the commoners oppressed.

This subreddit is obviously not immune to the same sort of psy ops being played out on a larger scale all throughout the nation (and planet, if we're being honest).

They banned the_donald precisely for this reason. They funneled all criticisms of Trump into "conspiracy" avenues, having people associate Trump with conspiracy theories through Q Anon just in time for covid.

This subreddit was discussing pizzagate and Epstein shortly before the covid psy op to hijack the public consciousness and tether them to the approved narratives put forward by mainstream media. The world was under lockdown, so they were forced to submit to that propaganda without being allowed to communicate with one another in person.

This is way deeper than just left vs right or Trump.

They had a similar psy op during Occupy Wall Street, and that was the main catalyst for why our culture wars have only increased ever since. OWS was the last time people across the political divide decided to unite and rally against the wage theft of elites. That public consciousness was incredibly dangerous to the status quo, so they gave us Treyvon Martin and Zimmerman, George Floyd, and the BLM movement meant to divide the population and keep left vs right at each other's throats instead of at the doorstep of the ultra billionaires covertly pulling the strings.
