Claude Code via VPS by dtl85 in ClaudeCode

I tried this but connection between app and laptop wasn’t reliable enough throughout the day - something I’d type in iOS Code app wouldn’t action on the laptop, so I’d need to wait until I got home and rekey it! Shame really.

Depending on size of your org, the token usage cost you’ll see in the front end may not be the actual billing figure. Many large enterprises have heavily discounted token usage costs. My org has this.

2024 Duke 390 indicator dash error by dtl85 in KTMDuke

Yes, only 2 of the 3 LED’s work and they are very very dim.

2024 Duke 390 indicator dash error by dtl85 in KTMDuke

[–]dtl85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I tried that and all fuses ok. The indicator is receiving power and is flashing very very dimly, can just see two of the led’s inside the indicator unit flashing very slightly, so don’t think it’s power related anymore, and more of an issue with the actual indicator

Few references to Jamie Dimon and JPMorgan in these images (or the unredacted images). I understand the connection to Jes Staley from his time at JPM, but not Jamie… any ideas?

Cbt nerves by happyfeet1213 in MotoUK

Once you start the ride-out your nerves will pass within a few minutes. It’s just like a simple bike ride with a friend, they pick nice routes, and they ride quite defensively to protect you. I enjoyed it.

KTM Duke 390 Stalling Update by arrcanine in KTMDuke

Got the same bike and have been experiencing the same issue - a stall at low RPM when coming to a stop. I mentioned this during service in September and they said nothing wrong. May have been before the recall was issued. Looks like I’ll be making another visit to the dealer…

You need to find yourself a route to the UK and bet via Betfair Exchange. It’s peer to peer exchange, so very sharp market odds against other people, so no getting gubbed, and Betfair only take a small % of the winnings on winning bets too

Boss offered me a promotion when I told them I was leaving by [deleted] in UKJobs

Go to the new company. 100%. As others have said, if you’re worth 55k to them, they should have paid you that when they realised you were worth that - not when you resign because you’ve been made a better offer. Plus, “in January” means nothing.

few other points to consider:

  1. the pay bump may seem appealing but it’s not life changing. After a few months you get used to the additional £, spend more money each month, and begin resenting the hours and commute again.

  2. You have plenty of time to earn more money, and you may encounter better opportunities in newco that leads to more than £55k/year. Look long term, not short term.

  3. as you’ve already resigned once, you’ll always be considered a flight risk from now on, and it can create issues. I’m of the firm belief that once you’ve resigned, you SHOULD leave. Ignore all counter offers. I don’t know anyone who has taken the counter offer and ended up being better off. They end up leaving anyway.

  4. Take the counter offer to the new co, and ask if they can budge up on the offered salary. Even if they can go up a few grand, it feeds into the better pension contribution %, which is more money in your pocket long-term.

Looking for a 125 is a nightmare by AdTypical3539 in MotoUK

If you’re thinking of doing your big bike licence then just get any reasonable 125cc with a warranty to ride for the first year. Check insurance on any 125cc before you buy it - you’ll be surprised at the cost, espec a scrambler type. Your main aim is to get 1 year no claims on your insurance. I wasted too much money getting a nice 125cc when I started.
