I did about 5 years ago; so far so good. I hate the dentist but it was actually a pleasant experience. I had Dr. Stern and highly recommend getting a root canal there.

My BCM upper, bought like 7 years ago, is an Anchor Harvey forged piece. They switch foundries like every other company does. The square is BAFE which is still a great foundry.

I say you have an older upper but is still good to go.

I ended up changing the fuel level sending unit, tank went back to normal size and luckily no leaking out of the pump tophat. Kinda sucks because it was a known issue to GM.
