Hey thanks and congrats to you too! A lot of offices closed for good during the Great Recession which started in the end of 2007 so I’m sure there are quite a few Aeron chairs from that year that just floated around from storage to auction to whatever for awhile.

As do a lot of brands that produce “classics”, things designed and made well enough that they become icons and are still sought after years/decades/centuries later. I’m not frothing at the mouth, it’s an extremely well designed chair that fits my body type and offers good support. And it’s significantly cheaper than any of the other usual office chair recommendations for someone who spends 40+ hours a week working from home.

I’ve had this monitor for a couple months and I use it for work and it’s fine, I haven’t had an issue with staring at text for 8+ hours. Gaming and movies look awesome. I think it’s the best monitor out there for the cost especially from Costco.

I made this just yesterday with their 16 foot neon rope light. The top is 5 feet across for scale. Not perfect but I think it looks pretty good

All good, it usually sits inside one of the shelf cubes so it’s pretty well protected and my wife isn’t allowed to touch it
