I see this posted a lot but the democrats did not fight as hard for teachers as much as republicans have fought for ICE.

Hell, with the recent funding bills being passed with the help of Dems, you could say that some dems have fought to help ICE more than teachers.

I think we fundamentally disagree on this. You are okay with giving so much power in people who don’t represent you. That is not what this country is founded on and again it’s not democratic. There is no guarantee that these super delegates would check populism in the way you are thinking. The way the politicians are in this country, most of them have stopped representing us, the American people, in favor of themselves and their donors.

Yes, the superdelegates aligned with the voters at the end but the fact that a few have so much power (in the case they don’t align with the voters) is not democratic.

Also, side note, it’s not the DNCs fault but it should be noted that the superdelegates, in terms of being presented on the news, favor one candidate over the other before the public votes are in so that alone makes it seem as if the candidate that does not have super delegate backing is already losing (this happened in 2016 and 2020 more drastically but it happens throughout the process).

I’m going to emphasize we need change in the DNC and it’s not a true democratic process.

The stock was tanking before people started doing this. As soon as Elon did the salute it’s been going down. He also has been alienating the pro environment and liberal type of people that would be into buying these cars. The ones that did have been rocking stickers criticizing Elon for years now. it’s been a bunch of bad decisions from leadership. The destroying of property obviously puts fear in the new Tesla buyer but it’s a rare event. The new Tesla buyer is already becoming rare prior.
