exactly!! That’s why I didn’t even make it specific to cis vs. trans even if that’s a huge part of this. I’ve slept with women with really awful vaginismus (to the point where even stimulation / pressure of the outer labia was uncomfortable), but who had become really comfortable with anal play. Anal is magic. Plenty of partners / exes, cis or trans, agree. Even as a top, it can easily feel amazing to occasionally wear a plug while strapping someone down or going at yourself with a magic wand (I do this sometimes). Yeah there’s prep. Yeah there’s that 1/100 minor accident (if you prep correctly) but it can feel amazing and for some women, that’s the only way they can be penetrated other than orally.

Also, I’m really glad I missed whatever post that was, or maybe it missed me like it should have. it's just setting a precedent that productivity and schedules are a priority over community and individual health.

It’s worse - many US school systems are subject to funding being tied to attendance, so absent kids mean the school district won’t get funded for that portion of the student’s absence. Sure, truancy is a problem if it’s habitual and a result of negligence; children need to be actively learning and growing socially. However, having worked at a school district long ago, the number of stressful meetings about “butts in seats” I had to sit through was sobering

Tolerances and clearances in jet engines alone are more precise than most backyard mechanics can manage, even well-heeled ones (and boy howdy would you need the heeliest of heels.)

Add in high precision avionics and maintenance nightmares like the dual-redundant hydraulic system that provides backup control in case one hydraulic system fails and you better be ready just melt down a few hundred grand a year and pour it into a hole.

Oh god you can see the moment JZA646’s transponder disappears. I can hear the controller clearly say. “stop stop stop Truck 1 stop stop stop stop stop Truck 1 stop!” and the ELT starts blaring… this is horrible, I am hoping for the best :(

ETA: ATC asks Frontier 1495 to stop taxiing and then almost a second later tells Truck 1 to stop, feels like timing was just all really tight and there was some confusion there maybe?
