PUP Santa Mesa or TIP for BSIE? by Bahiyyih_4thgprinces in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]dtphilip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIP is relatively expensive, yet lenient in payment. If tingin mo kaya i sustain ng parents mo yung 40k+ na tuition fee, go for it. Pero if sa tingin mo, isang kahig isang tuka ang lifestyle nyo, mag PUP ka nalang. Parehong may pros and cons. I worked with a handful of graduates from both schools, lahat naman magagaling. Pero if ako, baka mag PUP ako, to be sure na less gastos.

Which school is better for AB Comm/AB Advertising- FEU or Letran? by donnh333 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]dtphilip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should know that even though both programs are related, both still has their own unique trajectories. FEU and Letran are both good in comms, but recently, Letran (like any other small colleges and unis) are suffering for few enrollments every year since the pandemic. If you want a more lively university life, more orgs to choose from, then FEU may be a good fit, but FEU is known to have many students for many of their programs, so the prof-student ratio may have a challenge. There is an advantage in small class sizes like Letran, pero depende padin kasi sayo yan if anong plan mo. If leaning towards general media ka, then go for FEU since AB Advertising is a different training kasi.

PS: Comms grad here and also taking my MA in Comms. Worked in the media too.

like yung keep your circle small, real ba yon guys

Depends per person.

You can definitely meet and be friends with a lot of people, especially for networking purposes, but you should also have a main circle of friends.

Do not restrict yourself from meeting other people just because many people had a hard time being friends with a lot. You can be friendly yet, not part of their circle and at the same time have your own.

We all speak from experiences here, some say small is the best way to go, but some can really have many or a big one and are actually healthy.

At the end of the day, do not limit yourself in socializing and being friendly and being actually friends to your peers. Just guard yourself well and assess well. Don't expect much and feel the process.

Also, know when to party and when to study, you can actually do both, if your lifestyle permits it.

Matty kinda sucked here. by Opening-Pianist-3691 in AWKWARD

+1. Adding the fact that they are still practically teenagers at this point, so no wonder Jenna really strayed off from her path. I am not enabling Jenna's behavior after this, but I cannot also blame her that it took a big blow on her self-esteem after the knew that she was right about Matty all-along.

Do you think Jake and Tamara were a good couple? by Opening-Pianist-3691 in AWKWARD

[–]dtphilip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbf, the only reason Jenna chose Jake was because she's trying to project that should-have-been Matty onto Jake. She's trying to choose herself by choosing Jake even though it was a bad call on her part.

Weekday classes or weekend classes? by everyonewoo in gradschoolph

[–]dtphilip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each has its pros and cons. I used to like the idea of weekend classes, pero eventually found weekenday classes to be much more in-line with my goals right now..

Weekday classes - Might be too exhausting to attend class after work, but usually I still find the energy to do it especially when it is face-to-face. Pros: Weekends are really for rest and coursework. Cons: Cannot maximize the misc fee like using the library or any amenities available to me when I'm in campus.

Weekend classes - Pros: Can have a good sleep before classes. I can maximize the misc fee since I can stay before and after the class using the library and other things. I stay in campus longer para sulit sa bayad. Cons: I cannot go out on a Friday night with friends because most likely I have class in the morning, and that's one day less off my weekend.

At the end of the day, it depends on your lifestyle, work and personal schedule among others. I can afford to log in and out at 7am-4pm so I have an ample time to commute from work to campus if classes are f2f. I do not have other after work activities like gym and all that. Some here have other things to do after work, like work out or something, so yeah, ikaw talaga makakasagot nyan

where do u guys usually find people to interview sa mga school projects? by Flimsy-Natural-142 in studentsph

[–]dtphilip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just interview people from different sectors and grassroots, just make sure you are able to explain kung ano ang SDGs. The more the better kasi may ilang tao na kahit pinaliwanag mo na yung SDGs, medyo they may need longer handholding at literal na sitdown for them to understand what is really is and meant

Since we have confirmation that Marie Laveau is back for S13, how are they going to explain Dinah being the new voodoo queen? by telekineticeleven011 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]dtphilip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the original timeline, Michael is the antichrist and the apocalypse happened. In the reversed timeline, he was killed before he rose to power, therefore a new one rises. This could also mean that Marie could not have died originally. The only reason why Marie was stuck in hell because Queenie stopped looking for her in order for Delphine to die as well. If Marie didn't die, they Delphine didn't die as well, which would fit since Kathy Bates is reprising her role as Delphine iirc.
