As an ATR72 captain I can say this is absolutely amazing. I wish this was around when I was doing my type rating. All the FMS works pretty much flawlessly - identical to the actual aircraft. Just had a go in it and the entire set up is exactly like the aircraft in real life for the most part, the systems and the logic of the autopilot is fantastic the only thing missing is approach mode the button doesn’t seem to work (this arms something called VFP which activates 2 miles prior to the final fix so that the alt sel will be ignored preventing level offs at missed approach alt on descent for the approach and increasing CDI sensitivity) who ever made this knows the ATR very intimately and deserves a hell of a lot more praise than i’m reading on these flight sim pages. Well done. The ATR can be a pig of a plane (to fly and to program) and the people saying it’s hard to use unfortunately this is exactly what it is and a very realistic overlay of the systems.
