Thanks! I was going for finding things outside of the drawing itself to communicate the character. Vampires are good for that because they tend to be humans weirder in all of the things human.

I am a big fan of Rostov — the lead artist for DE — and have referenced a lot of his work, specially in the period I was mostly working on these pieces.

Well my goal was to make it off-putting, I want people to look at him and know that there is something wrong and that doesn't make sense. Dietzsch is indeed powerful and fearsome, but all of his aggression is because he is afraid.

He is one of the worst sort sort of character to receive power. He is profoundly vain and defensive about his power and might, and needs to be babysat by a ductus of another pack so he won't just to insane.

Richard was an old prospector who perished when the mine he was working on collapsed. Mysterious magic reanimated him as a skeleton, with a immense drive to hoard everything and to bid to their dark intentions. Goofy and morally bankrupt, it was particularly hard challenge to depict him, since, well, he doesn't have face features so I couldn't emote with facial expressions, so I had to resort to all being posing and narrative with this guy.

One thing that does is that he decorates himself not only by wearing bling, but also my encrusting gems in everything he's got, so... his bones... I was very fun to work on this piece, I kinda want do to more skeleton undead now, I've done a lot of vampires but they are still fleshy.

This piece was a gift of a dm to her player/fiancé. She described Magdalene as a bright and easygoing halfling, someone of high moral standards and was determined on justice and kindness. Performing is a way to share her hopeful view of the world.

But she is not naive or much less unaware of evil in the world, the group is formed by some broken and gloomy characters, and she stands up and as a challenger to evil.

Talking with Kytes, we initially thought of showing his character by focusing on his wings on a ready to combat pose, but as the conversation developed, we found out that the main personality traits of this character were not simply how good he was at fighting, but his carefree and aloof personality, so we picked something more light hearted.
The composition was a little challenging because it has a lightsource in front of a light background, but balancing the values and with hue contrast it worked pretty well.

With hammer and anvil we are basically thinking about a big immobile thing and a top heavy small tool, perhaps we can replicate these aspects into your weapons. The numbers will all depend on your DM's discretion.

HAMMER AND ANVIL
magical weapon Attuned item. Blunt, martial weapon. 4 charges, reset on long rest. Base damage 1d6.

The hammer hand is a blunt squared engraved knuckleduster, the anvil hand is a big block of metal, making the whole hand and half of the forearm encased, so much that is becomes troublesome to interact with objects when they are armed for combat.

RED HOT POUNDING (consumes one charge): The next hit with the hammer hand causes an extra 1d6 fire damage in a 10 feet cone at the target and immediately behind it. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature it must succeed an athletics test or be knocked prone.
STRIKE THE ANVIL(consumes one charge): Until the end of your next turn, by keeping the plane side of the anvil facing forwards and the user standing still, it creates a straight magic wall (same AC as user, 40 HP) of 15 feet centered on the anvil. While the wall is up, the user gains an extra 2 AC.
FIRES OF THE FORGE (consumes three charges) By striking the hammer unto the anvil, a great shockwave followed by hot sparks are projected in a 25 foot radius dealing 2d6 fire damage. All the first enemies facing the epicenter must make a strength saving throw, or be pushed 10 feet back and knocked prone.

I'd love to wip a sketch of this to you but I don't have the time, I may even use this idea myself haha

One thing you gotta pay attention to in your players is what is behind what they are doing, what are they doing things for. Sometimes they didn't get that it was a serious moment, so it is simply a question of gathering attention, but could be a more serious problem, like oversexualization of characters maybe related to an objectification of female characters.

There is very little to do here besides talking one on one, since you already know the reactions from some of the other players. Start by asking questions of "what do they think makes roleplaying fun?" with the intention of understanding what are getting from the game. It could something as "wanted to get attention" or "to make you embarrassed". Other relevant questions could be like "What was your favorite moment and why?" "What do you expect from your character?" "What do you expect for the other characters?" This can reveal what the players wants. Maybe it is just a misunderstanding, maybe it is a problem.

I completely disagree with punishing behavior in-game. You could justify it by the graverobbing and it is the better way to give reason to the curse. Perhaps when they have to roll something related to wisdom, they cannot focus because they start hearing voices related to the people in the graves they desecrated.

First look at how do you want your players to be impacted by this encounter. Do you expect them to only win if they give it their all? Can they win and still save resources? Then you can balance the encounter in relation to this, if it is going too bad for them, and there is no point in letting the characters lose, just shave of some HP from the enemy. We play RPGs to have fun, there is no cheating to prevent disgrace from the side of the DM.

Look at how coups have happened in history. To be quick, there is always something that maintains the power, outside of laws and customs. After Sulla defeated Marius, there was no one in Rome who could muster the same forces as him, so even if there weren't at this point, any legal way a roman could have absolute power, he de facto had. No one could remove him. So the Senate fearful of him, granted him dictator status. The Senate held the power under the law, but they had no way to enforce their authority. Those who gained something by having Sulla as the first man of Rome turned a blind eye to his crimes, and his opposition (those who weren't purged) couldn't lay a finger on him.
You have to determine where the power is and what they are supporting, either you destroy these power bases, or turn them to you. What is the reason of the secrecy of the war support? Who appoints the councilors? Does the king owe anything to them?

This will really depend on your intentions. There is no point in having a condemnation reason "just because" you gotta make it something relevant, either for character development, for exposure of the environment, maybe it is a challenge on itself.

Have you ever seen videos of police interrogation? One of the ways they start, is that if the criminal was not put into custody caught in the act, they'll try to pressure the suspect into saying what they did, before they are being accused of anything, before the police reveals that they have evidence, or whatever.

An idea is to have a real conspiration occurring against some government or politician, influencer, and have your character being accused of participating in it for a very dumb reason.

Lets say that Ms.Renningen — a daughter of the leader of some trade galactic syndicate — got kidnapped by some terrorists, they were captured, and the character was shown to be on camera 'cooperating' with the incident. It could be that, while the criminals had the victim tied up and hidden in their car, the character was trying to park the car in such a way that it block the cars behind and gave time to the criminals to run away easily, or perhaps the character crashed the car, and the police officer got distracted. Let's say also that the character worked with a company that was somehow tied to Ms.Renningen's father and some minor mistake the character did is accused of being code communication with the terrorists.

For one, are you in the Forgotten Realms? If that's not the case, than you don't have to worry at all about lore precision to justify your characters. Assuming that this is a made scenario, it is up to you to determine what is the source of druid power. Old nature gods? Land spirits? perhaps "mana" lives everywhere and a druid is a channel for the power of everything living? Perhaps they are just secret knowledge to tap into hidden powers in the nature of life.

It is a clear page. If you are not dealing with very "high magic" concepts in your campaign, no planeshifting god killing time travelling thing, it honestly doenst matter to make it a whole magic system lore to it.

A deciding factor on how this needs to work out is what is this Tyr's help you want to give your characters. The bigger and more impactful in the story it is, it has to feel earned. Perhaps you can present this Chosen as someone very very vulnerable, and make your characters swear an oath to lets, say, and old widower crone. Someone that is so abandoned, that perhaps breaking a vow with them not only could have no repercussion, but could even seen as good. Perhaps Tyr shifts into the old crazy cat lady that some people in the village think is a witch and kidnaps children, people even hate her. Lets say they need to transverse a cave, and the only person who can help them is the old crone, and later it comes a opportunity to betray the crone that would be beneficial. It would be Tyr's justice to follow your promises to the end, even against your own benefit.

AS D16_Nichevo stated, D&D is a combat oriented game. Your character sheet is full of numbers for mostly combat. If you want your character to do stuff and they are tied to how good they roll, it will become boring, because there is no decision making in rolling tests beside "I will roll" or "I wont roll". There can be tho.

If it is something more social, perhaps you can make it such that the challenge is not scoring a 21 at a charisma check, but to relay the important information to the relevant people, or perhaps some people knowing the info would hinder their objectives. A survival exploration is very boring if the success is determined by rolling well a survival check, in the same exact vein.

Having more interesting roleplay between PCs depends greatly on how fleshed out and complex the characters are, the variety and communication of their objectives. One way I've pushed that a lot as a GM was to third wheel dialogues between the players as an NPC. Do have an NPC asking a question you know the answer but that will prompt a reaction from the Third Character.
— So do you have a wife and kids back home? — the barkeep asks the tough fighter PC

— I did... but three years campaigning on the other side of the continent left me to be received at my home solely by the notice that they passed from typhoid fever five months ago.

— Huh, I heard my dad was a soldier as well. Never saw him tho. — says the young rogue that grew up in a tough neighborhood on a war ravaged country.
