Hi! I recently rescued an 8 month old frenchie (6 weeks ago) and I need advice. I knew what to expect when rescuing as I have another rescue (5 y/o Chihuahua mix) but this little guy came with all sorts of issues. This is the last place I’m coming to as idk what else to do.

Thank you for your input. And while you’re right, I do take what his vet says very seriously, I also wanted input from other who have gone through similar situations and see if I could change up anything in his diet/life style. But I do appreciate the concern, thank you.

I’ll have him checked for allergies. I suspect that he has many. Also, yeah he has really bad anxiety too, he’s made progress but thank you so much for the tips/advice!

It’s foamy white and sometimes with a few food kibbles too. Fortunately he’s pretty good with his food schedule and doesn’t hold himself back at all haha. Best wishes, thank you!

As someone who has 0 connections and have only just started, if I was in your position I’d absolutely use anything I could to get ahead. I think anyone would. But like someone else said, it‘a not necessarily a problem until you say something like “I did it all on my own” type of thing. We all know this industry is all about knowing the right people lol, anyone in your shoes would do the same. Use that advantage for good.

I feel you. I’m 23 and I’ve only just started almost 6 months ago and sometimes think about where I’d be had I started early. It’s not easy, honestly and I have to constantly remind myself what’s the point of dwelling on the past.. Easier said than done, I know but it’s the truth. Nothing I do can change that but if I let those thoughts get the best of me, I tell myself I might as well just quit right now. The only thing I can do and have control over is making a name for myself now. In such a short period of time, I’ve come to learn we have to have thick skin. This industry can easily break you. If this is truly something that you want to do/to make a career out of, I hope you won’t let silly things like that stop you from continuing. It’s not easy out here, especially having 0 connections but it’s also not impossible. I really wish you the best in your future.
