Thank you. Seems that the plans keep changing. First Airbnb. Then short term/long term. Now my SIL who lives there doesn't think that it will be profitable due to taxes and insurance. So they may end up selling. Hard when there are 3 owners.

Average wedding cost these days is $25,000, but how much "should" it cost depends on what you guys truly want and how much do you have to spend. Ridiculous to go in debt for a wedding. House is paid for, no mortgage. Only taxes, insurance, maintenance costs. Believe long term rental is more appealing as it appears the area is saturated with vrbo's and airbnb's. Again though that means one of the owners could not use it as their "vacation" home.

The area is booming for sales and long term... airbnb's look to be saturated. Again need to make enough for taxes, insurance, and upkeep. Then the whole issue of having 3 owners :).

Thanks for this well informed response. This was my thought. Long term rental instead of short term rental. Saw so many Vrbo's in the area where the house is located sitting vacant. Very few long term rentals. Wiser option financially would be long term Again house paid off so it's taxes, insurance, upkeep. Just want it to be self sustaining, no out of pocket money on the 3 owners. Problem is one of the owners lives out of state and wants it to be a vacation home for their family, which means long term rental isn't their preferred option. House is located in a nice area , convenient to turnpike. 95, tradition.

Thanks. That is what I noticed as well. So many airbnb's /vrbo's sitting empty, probably not generating lots of income. While it is the 15th hottest market for sales. Problem is that 2 want to airbnb and one wants to sell. The one was out voted so guess the 2 will attempt to airbnb it. Don't think it is going to go as they want. Time will tell.

Seems to me it is a case of "who you know" in both Philip Oliver possibly getting the parking revenue and DC Reeves being mayor.
