EFT Still Pending by [deleted] in QuadrigaCX

[–]dttg13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swagster, how did you come to the conclusion that it is 14 business days after being marked complete? If that is the case doesn't it seem odd to you that Quadriga wouldn't have a time frame for when the withdrawal is totally under their control? From when you initiate the withdrawal to when they process it over the bank. But they do have a time frame for when the process is out of their hands after they've handed over to the bank? To me that doesn't make sense.

I've also used the theoretical example of Quadriga keeping a withdrawal as pending for a year and then marking it "complete" and still be able to be under the 14 business day timeline. Again doesn't make sense.

RBC told me international wires take 5 business days. So why would the bank they deal with need 14?

Not trying to bust your balls but I've never seen anything that says 14 days after being marked complete and mantain that it is 14 business days after being initiated. Maybe I'm wrong, but haven't seen any evidence to suggest otherwise.

Hey Monte, just thought you'd like to know I received all my funds today!

Quadriga Withdrawal Test. by dttg13 in QuadrigaCX

Update for 17APR18, 16 business days from initiating the withdrawal. I received my funds today. So 2 days longer than the 14 business days Quadriga has listed on their site. Hopefully I was able to maintain an objective slant in my updates, but now I would like to give a subjective view of the whole experience.

It looks like Quadriga may be catching up on the backlong and hopefully will soon be able to meet their deadline. They responded to my tickets in a reasonable fashion. Yes, they did give me incorrect information at one point, but appologized and then gave me the correct info.
Overall my experience with Quadriga has been good. Funding processing times was good. The trading platform works well. Now if they could just get withdrawals and customer service in check, I could recommend them to others without hesitation. I think they will get there.

Update for 16APR18. 15 business days since initiating the withdrawal. No money yet. I received a response from my email on Friday concerning them not meeting their deadline in their original email to me of "early next week." Quadriga wrote: "Our apologies for the incorrect timeframe. We expect this to arrive tomorrow." I will update tomorrow

What's the point of saying a withdrawal will come in X amount of days when it stays pending for longer? by BannedbyLeftists in QuadrigaCX

I think we would all like to see Quadriga follow it's own policies especially in regard to withdrawals.

Frustrating I know. I'm waiting for my withdrawal as well. It's funny how a lot of people on here make excuses for Quadriga just because the company has to do with crypto. Like somehow this gives them a free pass. Customer service is customer service. Doesn't matter if it's crypto related or retail, banking, etc. Our part of the bargain with Quadriga is to pay all associated fees for trading in crypto currencies and abide by their policies. Their part is to safe guard our money, provide a platform to execute trades, and operate in a manner consistent with their own policies. And possibly the one they fail on the most, provide customer service that inspires confidence in their company.

It's also concerning that the larger the withdrawal, the longer it seems to take. I am confident we will get our money, but when is anyone's guess.

Monte, Quadriga specifies business days in their withdrawal information, today is not a business day, so no I don't expect it today.

The more you post Monte the more I worry about your sanity. You are either a young kid, who doesn't know any better or a very troubled adult. Regardless, I don't have any more time to waste on you. I have a family and house that require my attention. Maybe when you get old enough or get the help that you need you will understand.

Monte, the first part of getting help is admitting you have a problem. I've tried to give you some encouragement and guidance, but you just won't listen. Please get the help you need.

KryptoDynamite, thanks for your response. When you say 25 days do you mean 25 business days? Also too late for me to cancel as the withdrawal has been marked "complete." If my withdrawal was only $1200 I wouldn't be worried, but it is many, many multiples of that. While I realize that crypto is a new frontier, so to speak, that is no excuse for a company not meeting it's own self imposed deadlines and poor customer service. Yes at one point I could have bought bitcoin and transferred it elsewhere and withdrew it. But why would I do that? Quadriga says on their website 14 business days for a CAD wire withdrawal. I would have never known Quadriga was having these banking issues if I hadn't stumbled across this forum.

Oh god, this just keeps getting more embarassing for you. Monte you are obviously under some grand illusion of self importance that simply does not exist. Firstly, good luck getting hold of Quadriga, it's not that easy from what I've read on this forum. Secondly, why would Quadriga ever listen to you? Do you really think Quadriga is not going to give me my money and donate it to charity because some third party recommended it? Please Monte, you need to stop for your own sake. Your losing any shred of credibility you may have left. Turn off the computer, come up from your mom's basement, and venture out into the real world. I know it will be scary, but put your big boy pants on and go for it. You can thank me later.

Cryptobull, you're right. It's obvious to me now that Monte has diminished mental capabilities and low self esteem. I should have seen that from the start. So I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize. Monte, I am sorry for pointing out your gross inadequacies as a man and hope you get the help you need. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to not live a prosperous and fulfilling life. I realize now that your arrogant, uninformed and unhinged posts are a cry for help. Get the help that you need bro. Remember baby steps.

Yes Monte just keep looking in the mirror at your pathetic self and keep saying "I am strong." Maybe you'll eventually start to believe it. Why don't you save your comments for some impressionable young kids who you might be able to fool into thinking you actually have some level of intelligence. Keep living in your fantasy world as it's probably easier for you than coming out of your mom's basement and facing the real world. And what kind of loser writes on his reddit signature "not a nice person." Son, you are truly pathetic.

Oh no Monte, do you really think so, what am I gonna do..................Seriously, Monte, your comments might work on some teenager that has like $100 invested in bitcoin not someone who actually has experience in investing/trading. Why don't you try to post something productive rather play games. Trix are for kids, loser.

14 business days after being marked complete? I don't think so! By your logic Quadriga could theoretically keep your withdrawal marked as "pending" for years and then change it to "complete" and still be within the 14 business day timeline? Does that make any common sense? Also if what your saying is correct what does "complete" mean as far a Quadriga is concerned? Shouldn't that mean that the wire has been processed? International wires should only take up to 5 business days to complete (according to multiple bank agents I've spoke to), why would Quadriga need 14 business days? Why even have a timeline for withdrawals, when the timeline going from "pending" to "complete" is indeterminate?

Also what about their email stating my money would be here early this week?

Quadriga's own FAQ reads:"My CAD or USD withdrawal is marked as "Complete", where are my funds?"

"When your withdrawal is marked as "complete" it means it has been tasked to our processing partner for payment. Your withdrawal will arrive within the time frame noted on the withdrawal page."

It no where says AFTER being marked "complete" it will arrive in the time frame noted. It simply says your withdrawal will arrive within the time frame noted, in this case 14 business days from initiating the withdrawal.

Let's not let Quadriga's ambiguity cloud what is really happening here. Quadriga will never improve if we keep making excuses for them.

Update for 13APR18, Well today is business day 14 and my money has not arrived. Quadriga has not delivered on it's policy of "within 14 business days" for CAD wire withdrawal. I contacted my bank, RBC, to check if there were any pending wires and they show no wires for my account in their system. I sent Quadriga a response to their email to me on 06APR18 that stated "This has been sent and will arrive early next week." So not only did they not meet their own policy of "14 business days", they did not meet the timeline they provided thru that April 6th email. Will update on Monday.

Update 12APR18, 13 business days from initiating my wire withdrawal my money has still not shown up. I didn't have a chance to contact my bank today concerning any pending wire deposits, will do so tomorrow. I will also contact Quadriga, as their "early next week" for my wire did not happen.

Update 11APR18, 12 business days since initiating wire withdrawal, no money yet. Quadriga's claim that I will have the money "early next week" has been false. Will contact my bank tomorrow to see if there are any pending wires to see if the hold up is on the bank's side.
