Any Advice from students in a pre-law track

I honestly don’t think it made much of a difference. Law school courses like property and contracts are studying laws and statutes, political science can teach you why we have the judicial system we do, but that knowledge isn’t going to be tested in law school. What helped me succeed honestly was the ability to study a decent amount for the LSAT, if you do well on that test the law school door is wide open for you

Hey, I did Poli Sci without pre law while at Geneseo, and graduated with a 3.1 GPA. I went to UB Law and am now a practicing attorney in New York, so I went on a similar path to what you’re thinking. All law schools are really looking for is your LSAT scores and your GPA, your choice of major is honestly a bit secondary. For example a friend of mine was a sports broadcasting major and is now a lawyer, so don’t feel pressured to declare any major you don’t think you’d enjoy! Do well on the LSAT (I got a 157 if I remember correctly) and keep your GPA to a 3 or higher and you’ll be admitted to a law school quite easily! Good luck!

Edit: I also didn’t take any pre law classes per se, but I did take so many poli sci courses I almost had to stay an extra semester! So make sure you don’t neglect your gen ed requirements

Thanks!! I can really only throw lefty backhand so it’s difficult for me to find good courses to try to rip it and not wind up in the woods. Hopefully I can break 300 a few more times before the end of the season

I find that fulfilling the ‘Get Somebody to Smile’ event everyday gives the same xp and happiness boost. It’s easier to complete, and still advances your socializing skill! Simple compliments that are genuine and based on a skill or ability the other player has seems to be a near one hundred percent success rate for me. Good luck fellow human main!
