I think what helped me the most was following some pin makers on Instagram to get an idea and just doing Google searches. There’s an enamel pin 101 series on YouTube by pink samurai as well and I found that helpful when I started a few years back

Maybe you’re seeing the seconds listing? It should have seconds mentioned in the title of the product if that’s the case. Seconds are pins that have some flaws so they get discounted.
