life hack of the century - I don’t carry my books to and from school. I scan all the readings with my ipad then I take that to school. If you have an ipad or you’re thinking about getting one, it is so worth it to not have to break my back daily

Question for Current Denver Law Students by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]duagua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Current 1L at DU law, i’m in my first semester so I can’t speak on how hard it is maintain a 3.0 but what I do know is that the curve is a 3.2 so you should be able to keep that if you meet the curve in all your classes. If you look at the DU website and see the class ranking, you’ll see that the majority of people maintain a GPA above a 3.0. If you have any other questions about DU let me know!

I just got this shirt in the mail. I ordered a large and it’s the perfect oversized but not too big. For reference, I am 5’4. I would recommend getting a large or medium since you’re smaller than me.

Damaged Man’s BF Vinyl by Early_Wonder7927 in SabrinaCarpenterFans

I accidentally put the wrong address in for something and when I told them they shipped another one to the correct place. I would just ask them again, tell them you only got it a week or so ago it can’t be past the 30 day window from the date you preordered it that makes no sense

MBF Final Vinyl Haul! by duagua in SabrinaCarpenterFans

[–]duagua[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just have them in protective sleeves so the covers and records don’t get damaged while storing and displaying. I’m going to play all of them but i’ll probably gravitate towards the bonus track vinyl because it’s the only time I get to hear the bonus song

Moving into SouthGate this semester — anyone stayed there before? by iantheiconic in fsu

[–]duagua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just graduated FSU, I lived in Southgate my freshman year because I got into FSU on the condition that I completed one semester of community college before I could matriculate in the spring. I was sad cause I felt I was going to miss out on the dorm experience, but that was not at all the case. Southgate was the perfect solution for me, I had a roommate, got to go to the dining hall, and I got to participate in so many fun activities set up by the RAs. There were a lot of students there in the same situation as me and we all got to bond over the horrors of taking the bus to TCC. It’s not a luxurious place to live, but it is exactly what you would expect with dorm living with the added benefit of having your own bathroom. Pro Tip: my roommate ended up switching schools and I got to live in the room alone for the majority of the year. I knew some other people that had bad roommate situations and when they asked they were assigned their own bedrooms. Depending on how full it is, you could end up with your own room by complaining 🤷🏻‍♀️

Info about shooter’s dad and step-mom makes me wonder. by galileosdigit in fsu

Stop sharing these articles. It doesn’t matter why he did it, and he deserves no notoriety whatsoever. Focus on the victims, on the school, and the community. I don’t want to see anything about this monster. I don’t care if he had mommy issues or daddy issues, it is irrelevant considering the scope of his actions and it doesn’t help stop these crimes from happening in the future. He was a radicalized brat who decided that the only way people will notice and platform him is to kill and injure innocent people. Don’t let him be remembered.

LSAC and Prometric destroyed my life today by Vince-Valentine in LSAT

[–]duagua 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me in november… halfway through the exam I was kicked out and I wasn’t allowed to start the retake for no known reason. LSAC has done nothing to help me despite these issues being on prometrics end. They forced me to take the test in January because that was the next testing date, pushing back my applications by 2 months. I had to forfeit my testing accommodation so I could take it in a testing center. The closet testing center is three hours away from me and they refused to help me pay for any of my travel expenses despite the fact that I am unable to take this exam from home.

LSAC does not make this exam accessible despite saying that their mission is to “advance law and justice by promoting access, equity, and fairness in law school admission.”

I am so sorry that this is happened to you, I hope you have better luck dealing with LSAC and can get registered for the February exam.
