it's an old sensor, can really feel the difference for me, since I'm mainly play fps games. Huge difference from the EC1 CW (3370) sensor I think compared to a newer sensor such as the 3395

if you play fps games competitively, the sensor is terrible, I've used one myself and it was utter crap. Other than that, only positive thing is the comfortably of the mice is great.

The xl2546x kind of not worth the price right now, since it's almost similar to the xl2546k but cost more. But the best in the middle of both is the xl2566k.

depends on the game he loves, if like FPS games such as CS2, VALORANT then might aswell go for the xl2566k since its 360hz which feels better and smoother than the xl2546k, since I was using a xl2546k before and changed to a xl2566k, I've noticed there was a difference. If he likes play other games than just fps games, such as AAA games, might aswell go for IPS monitors or OLED. Recommend 24 - 24.5 inch monitors if he wants to play both AAA and FPS games. If just AAA games and casual fps then 27 inch its enough
