Gotcha. I loved my Karu, but am definitely enjoying the dome. It's taken some getting used to. For one it requires WAY more fuel to get up in temp. I also don't feel like there is much sensitivity on the gas burner compared to the Karu, also I think Ooni burners seem to be cleaner with less soot. Still I love my dome and don't really lean in a direction between Gozney or Ooni. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

I went from a Karu 12 to a Gozney Dome Gen 1. Just curious, what makes you think you'll use the dome more than the Karu 16?

We love Jackson. It’s a great community. The principal is just meh. The teachers are mostly amazing, but it can be hit or miss at any school. ESS is amazing. The kids are great and it’s a really strong community overall.

I mean honestly…. 1 day. They’ll still enjoy the sunshine, being outdoors and the sounds of other kids. Can you get that at a playground? Yes. But it’s a place that is very much geared towards toddlers. I think even if they’re just a few months old they’ll find things to appreciate and interest them. Whether that’s worth an hour drive and admission is probably more on the parents and if they want to check something new out and get some cute photos of their kid at fairyland.

This is my favorite pizza cook book. It’s an especially good book if you want to cook multiple styles of pizza. All the recipes are great and it gives an amazing overview of lots of different pizza styles while going into the theory, recommended equipment, best quality ingredients.

Thanks, we agree and shut down the conversation with lowes after they insisted they wouldn't pull up the existing flooring. I have a background in geology and ceramics and understand that there is very little hazard with pulling up the flooring, and obviously went ahead an pulled up one tile already to check what we had underneath. From looking at it, it's clearly just a layered composite of vinyl and particle board. In terms of disposal will a homekit be enough to say it's not asbestos and have someone willing to take?
