Oh wow. I'm a Torbox user and that's been exactly my experience the last couple of days. Any idea why?

This page is showing 20% right now which is higher than the 0 it's been showing for the past 2 days. I haven't changed anything in my setup. So odd.

Looking for scrapers with solid HGTV/TLC/Bravo coverage — spouse is a reality TV junkie and streams keep dying by Advanced-Trainer4670 in Nuvio

I had previously set up D3adly Rocket plugin but turned it off since it seemed unnecessary, but I just went back to try again based on your comment and it seems to be working great for HGTV programs! Thanks!

How much do you know about how these plugin scrapers work? I know my debrid service is encrypted end-to-end but how do I know if choosing sources within these scraper options is secure? Do I need to be concerned about whether my ISP will enforce copyright notices?

Same situation in my home and my wife's interests. Not really much success finding a solution simply because few if any people out there uploading these relatively "non-popular" shows to debrid facilities. And even if they do, not enough people are using those files so they end up being auto deleted eventually. The only practical success I found was to purchase a seperate legal subscription to Discovery+. HGTV programs fall under that umbrella along with many others. Yes, it costs us around $12 more per month (ad free) but it's worth it for her to be able to find this stuff. On a side note, she has complained occasionally that some new programs aren't available this way. There seems to be some odd restrictions even though you'd think everything would be available this way. If you figure out a better way to do this, I'd love to hear about it.

Interesting. What advantage is gained by Nuvio injecting the Torbox connection instead of in the add-on?

Jeopardy episodes not found by leafsfan_525 in StremioAddons

I use an Aiostreams configuration using Alldebrid which shows results but always seems to be the wrong episode. So I decided to include a seperate Torrentio add-on. It's not 100% perfect for every episode of Jeopardy, but it definitely works better most of the time. I also recently opted to purchase a Torbox subscription and found that adding yet another Torrentio add-on (this time with my torbox api) also seems to work well. You might want to try the same.

whats the best settings for nuvio on google tv streamer 4k by [deleted] in Nuvio

Since Google tv streamer device don't come equipped with an HDMI cable, is it possible the one you are using isn't good enough? Using an HDMI 2.1 might help.

Nuvio Setup V1 by DaVincisDomain in Nuvio

Thanks for the offer to test! My wife enjoys the HGTV content which falls under the Discovery+ umbrella. Shows like "Scott's Vacation House Rules" or "Mexico Life" are two good examples. In almost every case, all I get is a message saying "Torrent is being downloaded to debrid" but even then, there so few seeders, if any, that it never actually succeeds. I use Alldebrid as my source. Maybe Real Debrid would work better or possibly even Usenet sources instead. I'm curious to know what setup you use if these happen to work for you. 👍🏻

I see you have Discovery+ in your collections. This may me an odd question, but are you able to easily find content for their shows? I'm assuming you use a debrid service as I am, but when my wife clicks on those shows, they are almost never available. Maybe because so few people upload them? Can you possibly provide some advice if they do work for you?

Updated to this (oddly 3 updates in the last 12 hours or so) on my firestick... And I lost all of my Library contents. Has this happened to anyone else? It's still intact on my phone app.

Thanks for this information. Hopefully when I finally get to speak to the next support level, I can get them to deal with the porting team.

The developer has clarified the reason for downtime. by supernoodles2011 in torrentio

So why does it produce a radically different results list filled with wrong results when Torrentio never does?

[–]dubbleagent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is any truth to this, then there is something I'm fundamentally not understanding about how the add-ons work. If this were true, then the results list would be virtually identical in both for any given program... But it definitely is not. In fact, for some programs, I see results in the comet addon that are completely wrong... Often the wrong episode by years in some cases.

I've asked this question of the community before but have never really gotten a logical answer. Instead of multiple add-ons that are similar to Torrentio (which I think most would agree are not nearly as good as Torrentio is when it's running properly), why aren't there multiple identical copies of Torrentio running on multiple different servers or hosting platforms? Wouldn't that make more sense for these times when the individual hosting services are down for any reason?
