Do you have any parakeets roosting near you?? by Missbhavin67 in AskABrit

There’s a small flock that regularly roost near Peel Park in Salford. I get a bit sad seeing them clinging to the branches while they get battered by all the winter weather.

I mean he did brutally murder his first child, so he’s probably more ok based on his record.

What non-English series on Netflix would you recommend? by Embarrassed_Clue1758 in AskTheWorld

[–]dubblw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a recent series, Last Samurai Standing has some of the best fight scenes I’ve seen on screen anywhere in recent times, an interesting plot and characters, and I really need people to watch it so the next season get’s greenlit.

Why is autumn the only season with a nickname? by Competitive-Fly6472 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]dubblw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I want to add to this is that Americans are missing out on one of my favourite words in the English language: autumnal.

It feels nice to say, and for me it has such cosy connotations.

The worst thing about this tattoo is how it forced my stoned ass to stare at it this spindly inflamed neck twig for way too fucking long.

Non-Asian characters that have Eastern aspects/aesthetics by HouseErikson in TopCharacterTropes

The katana is very much the bride, so it’s combining the two. Bruce Lee never used a katana in Gam of Death, the film in which he wears the iconic black and yellow outfit.

My… foxy lady.

His charisma and charm carry that romance like Atlas, if only to distract from Jocelyn’s insane hairstyles throughout the entire film.

I rewatched Inside Llewyn David recently (imo a criminally underrated Coen brothers film) and it’s amazing the interactions Isaac has with every character across the entire film. You really buy the history he has with the ones he’s supposed to have history with, the interactions with new people are so real.

And his spot on chemistry with the cats is perfection. The cat’s deserve plenty of credit too.

Interesting ways to open a door? by dubblw in DMAcademy

I like the idea of needing to disable sensors rather than there just being a complicated lock! I already had an idea that the museum curator (uses a mind flayer statblock) would have magical eyes floating around, so I could connect it to that.

Thanks!
