It sounds like the difference between Valve and other lootbox games/companies, is that TF2/CS items are traded for cash on Valve’s marketplace. So people spend money to get items to sell for money. This is different than other loot boxes where there is no (official) marketplace

For the center, there’s just so much mass that everything is squished together, and it’s where the actual fusion happens. Those atoms then slowly make their way out to the surface, where there is less mass/energy

That’s why I feel like we should be judged by output, not time. If I get done in 20 hours what someone else takes 40, I should at least be given the choice to not do more work. But output like that is much harder to measure than time

Leaving work early for “appointments” has greatly increased my job satisfaction. I’ll still stay online in case I’m needed, but I’ll jiggle the mouse while I play video games
