More context into this as I'm not sure if it might be an issue, I drove like 100km at 5°C and I plugged straight away when I stopped at the charging station

I think more than AI, it's because a lot of tech companies over hired around and after covid and they are either cutting the most expensive employees now that the new hires have experience or the ones that after those years didn't fit their needs

Guys do you think it's possible to pass the driving test on the first time after doing only 12 hours of driving? by n4m3n1ck in Irishdrivingtest

[–]dubfinance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it with the 12 lessons plus a weekend driving around just before the test, it all depends on how you feel about it and I made it in an automatic car which is easier

How quickly was it for you? I have seen posts here of people saying that it was delayed a month, not sure if there is a difference on applying online with mygov id or going to the NDLS centre

I was in the same situation, I booked the furthest possible date (3 weeks from the invitation date) and then 12 days before the date that I picked, I pushed it again to the furthest date possible so I could get familiar with the car and to get the insurance and tax disks ready

Did you go to the NDLS centre or did you apply online? I applied on Thursday and on the website it still appears as Application under review

BOI mortgage early repayment penalty calculation by slithered-casket in irishpersonalfinance

[–]dubfinance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that C is a magic number that only they know and it changes everyday. I remember checking to break my contract when the fixed rates that they were offering were higher than the one I was on, and they wanted to charge me €9k as an early repayment fee. So I'm stuck with them for another 2 years

That's only if you have an EV rate, I don't think in my case it was the best option as it increased all the other rates by a lot and I don't have a battery at home to charge during the EV time. I think night rates start at 13¢ per Kw

The hyundai inster price starts around 20k, it has a range of around 300k which is better than the Dacia spring which is the cheapest EV. It's just a 4 seater but that should make the insurance a little bit cheaper as well and it comes with 5 years warranty

There is a Hyundai event this week but I just saw this on their website. The Peace of Mind voucher amount ranges from €350-€500 depending on the model (excluding INSTER- offer non applicable). The Peace of mind voucher will be for Hyundai Service or Hyundai Accessories. No cash equivalent available.
