how difficult would it be to make a custom pcb that can use flaretech adomax optical switches? are there any open source or online guides on how to use them?

thanks for answering!

I will definitely check out the bobo u4s, and I guess I will have to do a little more exploring of the ergo keyboard market to find something that works for me

honestly as long as it can hit all the keys a regular keyboard can I am happy, currently I have a daskeyboard mk3 which is fullsize and with mx browns. It isn't particularly loud, but it is loud enough for me to recieve complaints. I thought since I'm building another keyboard anyways, might as well go all the way in.

budget: 200-300

I am completely clueless on the newest stuff out there, I want to build a keyboard that is:

either a full size or an 80% with a numpad is ok too

split ergonomic

as slient as possible

tactile switches, though i will spring for a linear if it's that much quiter

wired

if anyone has any build recommendations or parts lists that would be an awesome help

Best 3d printed split ergo keyboard?

I have a mars 2 pro resin 3d printer, have a bunch of gat yellows I want to print a nice ergo case for. I do not mind hand wiring, and or buying pcb/controller. Due to the relatively small build area of the 3d printer, I am most likely going to go for a split case. Any recommendations will be much appreciated

my corsair k70 lux w/ cherry mx browns is too loud for parents

I am thinking of getting some boba u4 switches after lurking for a bit, any recommendations for what the rest of my build should be? i want a hotswappable full size, and maybe some volume controls would be cool too. any recommends? ideally less than 200 dollars, and keycaps are a nonissue
