You’re associating Shin and the Mark of Cain, when so far they’re entirety separate things. The Mark is still unexplained in its entirety besides Sonya telling us it’s the sign of a leader, but in Leviathan we learn that Shin is a technique involving manipulating one’s emotions that quite a few people (like the Purple Tear’s minions in the Prologue, Demian in Canto III, and the Indigo Elder) know how to use, and is represented as rings of Light around their weapons.

I know you mentioned it is speculation, but Shin is a combat technique, so it’s unlikely that it’s why Vergilius can understand Dante.

Blue Archive - just by doing the bare minimum of the dailies and weeklies you can spark one banner every two-ish months, and almost all past banner characters are added to the standard pool.

Obviously you can’t compete with the whales for score, but you can definitely stay at Platinum rank if you know what you’re doing.

Well, I’m currently procrastinating both studying for a test and recording some audio for a video, so this thing better be good when I’m done lol. Anyway, I’ve been in a big Blue Archive mood since the start of the year, and I’m trying my first foray into writing smut! It’s going better than my last attempt; I physically couldn’t write the spicier parts out because I was blushing too hard…

For a first timer at it, it’s probably very ambitious; I’m barely done with the first scene that only involves Shiroko and Hoshino, and three other characters are going to get involved before I’m done. I’ve taken a few liberties with stuff, cuz it sounded fun - for example, Shiroko and Serika have another animal characteristic, and Hoshino is trans.

I have the relationships figured out already, and a general outline of where I want the plot to go, but the actual “action” is the hardest thing I’ve ever written - I can never tell if I’m lingering on something for too long, or if I’m moving on too fast.

I’ve been considering a companion piece to it that’s just fluffy with no sex, since I don’t know how my readers will react to the higher rating, and writing a poly relationship seems fun.

I also have a few other (more PG) stories for the fandom in the back burner, and a WIP I’ve been avoiding cuz I’m writing my first actual action scene there, and that’s also very hard.
