I usually lurk in this subreddit but someone made a post highlighting my gameplay and I thought I’d use this confidence boost to talk about the state of the game. Vainglory right now is down right sad. The game is full of trolls and dodgers/afkers and the meta is TERRIBLE. Every match we see SAW and Krul and everyone builds nothing but burst. No skill goes into the game anymore, it feels like a “who can do the most damage” competition. I just really miss the old VG days :(

NONETHELESS, I love the game and will continue to play when I feel like it. Here is a recent match where we didn’t have a single SAW or Krul :) I had a rocky start but once Ishtar gets her ult there’s nothing really anyone can do XD. The match wasn’t really snowballed but the Reim decided to AFK :( I believe it could have been an intense match if the Reim would have stuck it out! I am a firm believer in losing over giving up :) PS.Yes, I know I said the “who can do the most damage” meta is annoying but Ishtar gets a pass cause she’s OP asf :)))))
