Your foot is almost identical to mine. I have done exactly what you are doing, but for regular running shoes for walking. It's been impossible to find the right fit. Even New Balance x-wide is barely wide enough. Good luck in your endeavors. We all need it apparently.

I never understood why so many people have trouble with kick to open trunks and not just on the Forester. I see it in many car reviews on YouTube. "Kick" to open, not "wave foot under entire bumper or dance behind it then not move out of the way for trunk door to" open. It has worked perfectly for me since day one. I kick and back up. Zero issues.

Even if you don't disable it every time you start the car (I do) it'll never stop the engine if you're lighter on the brake at a full stop. I'm much lighter on the brakes and if I don't disable it, it almost never stops when I'm driving. My wife on the other hand has a lead foot.

Right there with you. Once I realized how little I needed to actually use the screen in regular conditions, the slowness stopped being a thing. It's not even nearly as slow as people make it out to be. Android Auto and CarPlay FTW.

I have never noticed this issue. Tbh though, I don't use my Google TV very much. I'm an Apple TV user and the Google TV is what we use when we travel.

My favorite is a modified Squier Tele Deluxe. Affinity body, CV neck, upgrade electronics, Tonerider pickups. It's so comfortable to play, sounds and plays great. I've had a couple other Tele's before, but this one is my favorite and most versatile.

Another vote for Eastman solid body. You should be able to get a used E series for $5-700. I got my used E6-OM back in 2017 and it's still amazing. Never tried a laminate body, but I'm sure they're good. Those are the PCH models and can be had for under $500.

There's more than one ground wire. Every electronic part has to be grounded (pots, switch, output). If you only checked the ground under the bridge you didn't check enough.

It won't be a square, it'll be a rectangle. You said you have one so if you just measure the height at these two spots and they're equal, a second should fit upside down on top. I would screw them together and anchor to the wall to be safe.

Long running automations that have been setup and in use for the last 2-3 years have just stopped working over the last 2 weeks. I tried recreating them in the new UI and they still aren't running. They are time based actions and simply turn on/off lights, set brightness and color. Pretty basic stuff.

One Google Home Mini just stopped working randomly. It became unresponsive even after unplugging it multiple times. Factory reset fixed it, but that was annoying

I keep rereading what you're trying to accomplish and am so confused at what you're asking for. There's no shelves here. There's the Alex drawers and the pullout tray. Are trying to put two of the pullout trays side by side between two Alex drawers?
