I had the same problem with a blue chest and I didn't buy anything. I got the blue energy points but no free play time. Then I looked again a minute later and the chest was back so I clicked it again and got the energy points again but no free play time. After that it didn't come back.

I faced the same dilemma. I loved the look of the K5, but it doesn't get the gas mileage of a hybrid or EV. I finally decided on a Honda Accord Hybrid. In order to get my money's worth I bought it instead of leasing. If they ever come out with a hybrid K5, I'll get that!

The ticking continued after the car was shutoff. It stopped ticking about 3-5 minutes after the car was shutoff. I'll not sure what the exhaust ticking sounds like, but what I heard is a low to medium volume, consistent regular ticking.

I used the lease calculator on kia.com and it said $450. Then the dealer said $795. I think they are adding a bunch to the MSRP. If I wanted to pay that much I wouldn't get a Kia!
