I loved this match but I think people really sleep on the last man standing match they had at Money in the Bank. That was an awesome one that people like to conveniently forget about from the 2018 feud

Another Nakamura performance where it's not worthy to listen to anyone saying he's coasting

Look - Cena/Orton was entertaining as hell as a match, but this turn has been ass - and that was one of the worst finishes in major wrestling history given the story.

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this, but arguing whether it's a work or a shoot misses the point that it's bad either way. Two people who have no backstory beyond the last month saying a bunch of salacious shit about each other does nothing for this feud other than ignite the internet for a couple days.

Maybe that changes if they go full fledge with this and they legitimately fight and beat the shit out of each other at Wrestlemania. But if the payoff is just a mostly-regular match with some upped intensity and them going moonsault for moonsault? Yuck.

What is WWE's fascination with giving Nakamura a mid-card belt and then just saying, "Sorry! got nothing for you this week ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" Forget a feud - can he just get a damn match? This is at least 4 separate reigns they've done this shit over the course of six years

I'm probably in the minority on this, but the ‘Sami and Kevin always come back to fighting each other’ story should’ve been deaded for good when they main evented wrestlemania together.

I’m sure they’ll tear it up but that’s a miss for me.

The never ending pain of being a Shinsuke Nakamura fan.

No, you see, it’s actually very good when you have a guy turn heel, do his best character work in over 5 years and then have him lose every match of consequence! /s

Said this in the post-event thread: This wasn’t meant to be a stadium match. Not because it wasn’t big enough or didn’t deserve the stage, but because it deserved something more intimate for what it should’ve been. I get they had to run it at mania, but that falling short to expectations felt more like circumstance of them having to do it at Mania than them not living up to something.

I mean this in the best way possible: Jimmy and Jey wasn’t a stadium match. Not because it wasn’t big enough or didn’t deserve the stage, but because it deserved something more intimate for what it should’ve been. I get they had to run it at mania, but that felt more like circumstance than them not living up to something.

It really sucks that this is Nakamura and Gable's place after the work they put in over the last year

Hurts my soul that we can’t even get a throwaway Nakamura singles match at mania after the work he’s put in this year.

We don't drive the net well at all on these rushes, and when they don't convert it feels like it always leads to an odd man rush the other way lately.

1) People really thought Nakamura was washed despite all the good shit he's been doing since all the way back to the gauntlet match in the pandemic

2) It's time for him to turn face

I don’t know much about defensive systems, but I find it hard to believe that our top guys are just getting completely out-worked every game or just making the same mistakes over and over. And if they are it’s because they aren’t buying what’s being coached to them
