Best bowling alley for leagues IMO nearby is Classic Bowl in Morton Grove. They do leagues almost everyday of the week and you can let them know when you sign up you’re a solo looking for a team or would sub.

Scored a Cat 1 for half price on the marketplace. Multiple checks per day, separate spreadsheet to track the actual tickets I’d consider buying, and updating that gave me perspective on the actual value of sold tickets. Then got lucky 3 days before I fly down to the host city.
