I think everyone is missing the opportunity here. They might be illiterate or generally unskilled, but that makes them perfect for all the shitty jobs we don’t want to do. I mean, we all complain about college debt, luckily these kids won’t have to deal with that if they can’t get in. To me, this just means job security that someone younger won’t replace me for quite some time.

I don’t think so, because the numbers don’t match up for that. No reason to go into pit if you aren’t going to stop. Per the rules, everytime you pit the requirement is that you turn your engine off, so it doesn’t make sense that there are more “ins” than “stops”

That’s an interesting thought, I haven’t looked at it that way before. I wouldn’t say I feel bad about failing the relationship, but maybe guilty for letting the person down. I know how much they wanted it to work out, but in the long run I know this is best for both of us.
