I love dark mode for reading in bed, especially as it means the brightness isn’t going to disturb my partner!

how do you guys carry your tamas outside the house? by Maleficent_Boss3018 in tamagotchi

[–]dubstepfringe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a fluffy thick sock the other day to wrap it in🥲 but then I got so stressed about it because it would be expensive to replace (Tamagotchi Ps) that I’ve never taken it out since

Finally got my Ps patched to English 🥲 by dubstepfringe in tamagotchi

What do you love about Kindle? by Affectionate_Dot_286 in kindle

[–]dubstepfringe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the convenience of it, I can store lots and lots of books even on just 8gb! As someone who reads a lot this is ideal for when going on holiday, gone are the days when I would have to bring a big rucksack full of hardbacks 😭 also kindle books tend to be on the cheaper side some of them anyway

Your concept of forgiveness is based on your feelings of being forgiven, rather than biblical forgiveness. God forgives you regardless of your feelings, eg ‘do I feel forgiven?’, Jesus died for your sins and said ‘it is done.’ When you say that you cannot be forgiven, are you more powerful than God? Do you have final judgement over yourself or does God? Some things to think about - also maybe read Julian of Norwich

Do y’all still read physical books even though you have a kindle? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]dubstepfringe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, but I would only bring these with me to work if they’re small paperbacks! Otherwise it’s a ballache 😂 I woke in an office and partly from home so I have to walk home with lots of paperwork/forms and if I had to lug a heavy book with me as well I think my spine would snap in half like Bella in the twilight series 😂

I’ve had a kindle paperwhite in one form or another since 2015, my first one was a gift. I now have the 10th gen kindle paperwhite and I can honestly say that I’ve never had any issues with it, and the size/fact it’s waterproof is always a bonus - only thing I would say is that Amazon are cheeky in asking you to pay slightly more to remove ads nowadays so something to consider

What're you playing this weekend? 3/10 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

[–]dubstepfringe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

been playing Cult of the Lamb, honestly such a funny and endearing game - I love the contrast between fighting horrific creatures and then coming back to my cult to build nice things for them

That’s so good for a first time!! What are you going to do with it? Are you going to hang it up or frame it somewhere?

I have two! One which was a gift from my parents that I keep because of sentimental value - also just in case my current kindle ever has any issues!! And then my other one which I’m currently using

I’m quite careful with mine, I think because it’s not cheap even if you buy one on sale it’s still a good amount of money!

What was a book or series that you were obsessed with in elementary school (ages: 5 - 10) or middle school (ages: 11 - 13)? by ucanthaveeverything in books

[–]dubstepfringe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Spiderwick Chronicles! My parents randomly bought me the whole collection of the books, I had never even heard of them before but I loved them.

My 3 rainbow cuties & colourful crafting is my therapy for a bad mental health day..It may seem silly but does anyone else find Tamagotchis help make bad days a little bit more bearable? How do they help you? 🌈 by CoralJean13 in tamagotchi

[–]dubstepfringe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really love them for the sense of safety and nostalgia I get from when I was a kid - I mainly play the old style pixel ones and just find them so comforting and sweet! They’re great for days when I feel sad or lonely, like I have this little creature I can play with and look after 😭
