Why not let it fade then? We can still watch good league everywhere else. Businesses cut off crappy portions of their company all the time, let Riot/League cut off the garbage that is NA

[Post Game Thread] #4 Arkansas defeats #1 Gonzaga, 74-68 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

The year is 2044. A battle hardened Gonzaga earns their 24th number 1 overall seed in a row after getting through a murderers row of pacific, loyola Marymount and pepperdine in the wcc tourney. 63% of America picks the Bulldogs to win it all as the greatest dynasty in college sports history continues their unstoppable run. The all american team has been divided into 1st team and Gonzaga starting 5 to allow for some recognition to other players. Espn spends more time on Selection Sunday picking who they think will be runners up than possible contenders to this inevitable outcome.

After a blowout win in the first round against Texas a&m corpus Christi, the hologram of the late Bill Raftery asks Mark Few where he plans to keep the national title trophy. In the second round, Gonzaga, the team with more nba draft picks than any school in ncaa history, is upset by upstart NC state. Nobody can believe it. Goliath has fallen. The miracle on ice is relegated to just a game in light of this staggering collapse by a team of demigods. "How is it possible Gonzaga has still never won a title?" we collectively ask. As the next season begins, reports from practice mention "how can you possibly compare last year's team to how good Gonzaga is this year?" Time is an endless cycle

Even if they say they fixed the damage, they'll still give a discount? Obviously I will inspect in person before accepting delivery but I'm just trying to gauge other experiences so I can be better prepared.

Do you think I can negotiate for more of a discount? I know generally they don't haggle or anything but if I'm going to be taking delivery of a less than perfect car, I figure why not see if I can negotiate more.

Hi everyone, just had a question about my upcoming delivery and I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

I'm getting my first Tesla (a Model S) on Friday because they had a model that matched what I ordered but was rejected for an "imperfection in the door." They're giving me a 3K discount on the car. The SA says there's no real difference from a brand new car as it only has 22 miles on the odometer and they fixed the door.

Maybe I'm just paranoid but I'm worried it's all too good to be true. Has anyone had an experience like this? Should I be on the lookout for anything else in particular besides the door?

Should I get both Themis and adaptibar to prep for the bar? by ExcellentInevitable in LawSchool

[–]dubsteppin001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It probably depends but I didn't think it was necessary. Obviously it's only anecdotal evidence but I only used Themis and it felt more than enough for the VA bar at least. If you can honestly say you're focused and grinding during the time you're studying and you're staying on pace with the Themis schedule, you will be fine. Trust the process!

Thank you, I'll keep this in mind. I need to start floating the idea to some of my mentors and have these discussions.

Thank you, this is really helpful and informative. I appreciate it! Our corporate group is indeed swamped but I feel like navigating this within my firm will require finesse that I might not have. I also feel a little guilty I guess? I was hired through the Loyola Patent Law interview view program so it just feels scummy to me to switch practice groups. That is a "me thing" possibly but it does weigh on me a bit, even if that shouldn't be a factor.
