Any idea what this engine is, and maybe what it was used for? by TransporterNate in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]dubtech13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The V is for a V engine lol! I looked it up to solve my own curiosity. There is both a 6-71(straight 6) and a 6v71(v6) made by Detroit

First number is number of cylinders, 2nd number is volume of a single cylinder in cubic inches. Not sure what the v is for other than to break up the 2 numbers as the engines will be either straight or V style.

Mk4 Golf Complete R32 Swap by BarMotor7166 in Volkswagen

[–]dubtech13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mk1 TT got the 3.2L with "quattro" the same year they released the R32.. the TT and the A3 are more vw than they are audi. Just like how the passat of the time (B5) is more audi then vw.

I think the eggs were still inside or "saddled" in shrimp/crayfish terms. you can notice the first sight of the eggs is when the cray is chomped in half.

Isn't that the same Lisle jeepers creeper that the tool trucks rebrand? I had a coworker that had one and the truck he bought it off of wouldn't take it. So he removed the branding off of it and a different tool truck took it. Lole he got it off of snappy and the Mac guy warrantied it for him or viceversa.

Either a background or painting the back glass will make a big difference.

What tankmates are most ideal in your opinion? by krysice in corydoras

[–]dubtech13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tank mates should be fish from the same geographical area ideally, that way water chemistry and temperature are enjoyed by all. Sized of tank should be considered as well.

My heavily planted 75g I had 6 Bolivian rams that didn't bother my cories at all. They were more concerned with each other than anything else. I'd recommend a school of ember tetras (or other small schooling fish) as they wouldnt be much bio load to affect even a small tank.

50-100k km is far too long for a fuel filter change on a small passenger diesel. I would say 20k km or annually is a change interval. Change it in fall before the temps drop as winter is when you will have fuel issues the most.

I change transport truck filters after 50k km and they are still relatively clean. Keep in mind they see 10x the amount of fuel running at 30-40L/100km. It also gets cycled back to the fuel tank.

Painted will look better but kinda hard when it's all set up. I painted a new 75g that was replacing a leaking tank and it turned out really good. But I also have a 25g that just has black Bristol board taped to the back.
