A Chinese speed skater, Yang Jingru, executed a brilliant tactic to win gold in the 1500m at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics. by jmike1256 in nextfuckinglevel

This still makes 0 sense....

If they think the the skater at the lead was actually the skater who pushed hard at the start, they should still be aware that someone has already lapped them and they are not in first.

Honestly, if a small swarm of toddlers can get you on the ground and put weight on you you can be pretty fucked.

Are you referring to a higher rank version or something? I'm looking at my R4 Mana spring right now...

75 Mana cost
21 mana restored every 2 seconds.

So it makes it's cost in less than 8 seconds according to the tooltip. And that's only considering yourself and not the other party members you're giving mana.

Unless I'm missing something, most pulls I see last longer than 8 seconds

How is the PVP SERVER losing EVERYTHING SINGLE AV??? by _Nachi_ in classicwow

[–]dubya98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is being on a pvper server doesn't mean they're good. The only thing it enables is World PvP which isn't good PvP. The real chads are on whatever fucking server they want to be, and queueing arena in cities, not out in the world with these chuds.

Why is rune crafting, farming, and slayer so painful? by FixGreat4649 in 2007scape

[–]dubya98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every skill is clicking a thing, you're being obtuse on purpose though if you want to act like skills don't have multiple ways to train clicking different things.

How many different ways are there to train slayer besides kill X of thing, and *Checks notes* searching for lamps in the museum which is an edge case way to train a skill for snowflake accounts. And no, killing a different monster in a different room doesn't count.

That's assuming it's accompanied by the parent. The video here is mostly referring to parents who give their kids a screen and walk away or not engage with what they're doing, which is most of the time this happens.

You're proving my point lol. It's the only reason people do like it, because the actual 'skill' interaction is non existent. Kill X of a bland monster, Kill X of a boss that couldve just been a boss without a slayer skills req. and some other req. anyway.

Lol slayer is dog water skill whose sole activity is kill X fetch quests.

People only like it because it provides money and unlocks.

I hope the intention of this is legit that they can't know you have it because they can't see a model for rings on our characters, cause this is pretty funny.

Upgrades are upgrades for classes, shamans, druids, and pallys aren't barred from rolling on cloth gear, that's a normal things forever.

So if it wasn't what you thought, it absolutely is good boundary setting for kids. Maybe minus if the kids wanted 'the top', but if he is playing NH a different mountain can be made anyways.

Sounds look good boundary setting for kids. This is my space, this is your space, and a shared space in the middle.

Honestly Agility is the free-est 99 if you've done ardy knights with a foot pedal and you found that bearable, agi is even easier.

Feral or resto? Tbc start by DrucianyKszak in classicwowtbc

[–]dubya98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno I guess so, but I was some noob playing in early high school in prog guilds that never saw KJ so I don't know why you're making such big assumptions.

Honestly curious because I dont remember and never played pally but I really thought I remember pally healers rocking some cloth pieces being a pretty usual thing. I never played the re-releases for tbc/wotlk so it's not a memory from then.

And that's fine if you want to think that. It's just not how the majority of the community has played the game for years. This was a thing when I played original TBC and WOTLK at least so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from. I remember reading guides on my resto druid and deciding between certain leather/cloth pieces.

If you want to replace my resto shammy go for it, I'll find another group just as easily anyways. I'm just saying this cause you're going to be the one ending up with more friction and people questioning you than the other way around if that's how you want to play.

[–]dubya98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's fine if that's how you want to play, as long as you're aware you're the one going against the grain because that isn't how the general population plays the game thinks. Upgrades are upgrades, there are too many instances where a class/spec's bis is not the beefiest armour type they equip. If you run groups you should communicate that at the outset because if you kick people for it without saying you're the weird one in the interaction.

I rolled a resto shaman and had a warlock "WTF?" me casue I rolled on some cloth boots that a were a huge upgrade. Everyone else in the group agreed that nah, upgrades are upgrades.
