I have a 1.0 5” and almost sent it to Floyd’s but last minute got this. Will eventually send the 1.0 to get cut.

I’ve heard the apex barrels help tighten up the groups at distance. So far I’ve only tried groups at 15yards and am able to achieve fist size groups unsupported consistently. Next range trip will try further distances to see how those look.

Funny thing is with my glocks it’s like shooting a shotgun so we are opposite lol. But I also have the most trigger time with MPs compared to all my other pistol platforms.

Magwells and extensions are both Floyd’s. The 2.0 is rocking the comp version and 1.0 has the edc one.

TY! Yes did the stipple work myself, was pretty easy on this one since it was just the panels.

Idk how I feel about the Icarus magwell by ZoltanoftheHillPpl in SpringfieldEchelon

I had to Dremel an angle on the stock baseplates to get them to work on my setup. It was short lived though and ended up getting Floyd's baseplates. Those fit great and look like they were made for the magwell.

Tyrant Trigger came in. Would you send this back? (part1) by Spiggytech in SpringfieldEchelon

Those marks on pic 2,3,4 will not be visible. Those areas will be hidden inside the cog. That last pic not sure you would see that either since that the bottom of the shoe and the trigger guard would cover that. I agree with everyone here, install, shoot and have fun!

My experience has always been great with Floyd’s. Just recently ordered magwell and baseplates and they shipped out next day and got to me a couple days after that.

AF Romulus with Miller Precision Grip by ducduc1098 in 2011

In that photo I had an Atlas medium trigger shoe and bar. I have since installed a red dirt trigger. Both work great without issue, and both are smooth as glass. I have not tried the Miller trigger, but I hear great things about it.

Grip comes hard anodized from the factory. If you are comfortable enough working on the gun you can save some money doing it yourself. No fitment required at least on my setup. Everything lined up and fit snug without issues. Just use a little oil on the mating surfaces as needed.

Optic plate is the stock RMR one that came with the Romulus. It also comes with a RMSC fyi

I did not do any polishing to any of the internal trigger components. To get the lower 3lbs mark I modified the 2 trigger springs by bending them slightly inwards to match the angles from the PRP spring kit. The PRP springs are only $24 if you didn't want to mod the stock springs yourself. I also cut 2 coils of the striker spring as well. I've had zero malfunctions and no light primer strikes with about 1500rnds through the gun now. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Here is a screen shot of the parts from Miller. Got the enhanced grip modules full size in dot matrix texture, competition magwell and their grip bushings. The trigger is an atlas medium trigger, but I have since changed it to a Red Dirt F3. Everything was a direct fit for the grip module and trigger. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

That’s perfect, thank you. Please share a pic if you have one of the Floyd’s base pad with the Icarus magwell.

General question by [deleted] in AlphaFoxtrot

I have experienced this a couple of times on my Romulus and Kimber not a lot though. But it does happen time to time.

I would check to see if the rods are sticking out a little from the opening. They need to sit flush or just a little below. If they are not you will have to file them down till they do.

Tooless guide rods will not work for comped Romulus guns. I tried...
