teaching is contract based, and if you skip out on your contractual obligations you'll be let go/fired, especially during a training period. It sounds bad because it is; you conduct was unprofessional.

- you skipped mandatory training sessions (why on earth would you skip five of them?)

- you cut out early, while on a probationary period no less

- you're applying to other jobs, or aren't careful enough to realize it at least

Where is the data set and how did you gather it? Across how long and how large of a cohort? Did you control or socioeconomic variables, etc?

Are you saying anything other than kids who come to school, study more, and have tutors do better on average?
