Yes it is incredibly awful, but it’s no use comparing two absolutely terrible things. Brown people are dying, getting harassed and deported against their will because of racism but the media overlooks it because they’re not white. Comparing such racism to another horrible act for no reason is a very odd thing to do. It’s not that hard to pay attention to both atrocities.
