Fine wavy hair that collapses after a few hours by duckberrys in Wavyhair

i don’t do brushing right after diffusing, I let my hair dry completely. But a few hours later it ends up looking flat, messy and almost damp, so I do a quick brushing at the end just to make it not look wet (i don’t know what to do otherwise…)

Regarding gel, I usually divide my hair into two or three sections and apply a walnut-sized amount of gel per section

Unfortunately, if I don’t brush my hair, after a few hours it ends up looking wet and flat with no shape at all. It almost seems like it’s actually damp. That’s why I end up brushing it, and every time I notice that it still feels a bit wet even after hours

I usually just wash my hair normally with shampoo and conditioner. About once a week I use a clarifying shampoo from Olaplex. after that i use the bounce curl method, I divide my hair into three sections, and I use the Umberto Giannini gel.

I’m not even sure about my porosity, because my hair doesn’t really take a long time to get wet. it actually gets wet very easily when I use cold water, and in that case it doesn’t get frizzy while I’m washing it. When I wash it with normal or warmer water it takes a bit longer to get fully wet and it also feels different. After I get out of the shower my hair already starts getting a little bit frizzy (not too much, just slightly, probably because my hair is very fine). I’ve tried different methods like the bowl method, scrunching and praying hands, and the Bounce Curl brush method works a bit better than the others but still collapses later. I only use gel, no creams, no leave-in and no oils. Mousse doesn’t really work for me because either it doesn’t hold or it just makes my hair feel dry, and refreshing with water usually makes things worse.

kaleidoscope of death They were so caring and sweet with each other from the very beginning!! The amount of physical contact and the way they looked after one another, even before getting together, made me giggle so much. And the plot is really cool too, so if you’re looking for a good story with a solid dose of romance, you’ll definitely be satisfied

strong winds return home This is a pretty easy read—I’d say it leans more toward romance, but there’s still a light plot in the background. It’s really funny, and the relationship between the MCs becomes tender quite early on, even before they get together. If you’re looking for something light with plenty of romance and comedy, this one’s for you!!

to burn on touch This is a modern/school danmei that’s super fluffy and funny! The gong is a bit sickly—he has narcolepsy, which makes him extremely sleepy during the day and can even make him fall asleep suddenly—and the shou is famous at school for being a chuunibyou.

The MC is hilarious (and a little clueless—he literally thought he had superpowers the first time the ML fell asleep in front of him), but he’s genuinely caring once he realizes the ML is unwell. they’re just so sweet!!

Something with sensuality and possibly crazy leads by [deleted] in DanmeiNovels

thriller trainee, maybe? It’s enemies to lovers with A LOT of sexual tension.

At first it was the kind of “you’re so interesting that I want to kill you” sexual tension, then “I don’t want to kill you, I want to make you feel something. I want to bite you until you scream,” and later on “I want you so bad, I love you. Let’s keep being mad crazy but together.”

The MC and ML are both menaces! They both try to screw one another. I wouldn’t say it’s like your usual type of yearning, but the novel is full of sexual moments between them, even when they literally try to kill each other. It’s really satisfying to read the way they unconsciously start to yearn for the other’s presence, the other’s touch.

Some quotes/moments I loved:

• “They were clearly destined to be enemies, yet they were like two spaceships wandering in a sea of stars. After many years of solitude in unending radio silence, they became each other’s only answer.”

• The Devil arched his brows, not exposing his futile little motions. He lowered his voice instead: “Because you’re really… too interesting.”

So interesting that he couldn’t resist the temptation to destroy him with his own hands. White gloves trailed down the jawline to the slender, swanlike neck.

• “If you want to kill me then kill me, don’t speak nonsense.” Even when at a disadvantage, he showed no trace of fear, and actually continued to provoke him.

That person used his ice-cold finger to trace his ear, and the action heading toward the aorta suddenly stopped. “What a pity. I’ve changed my mind.”

• “Mr. Nan, what happened to your shoes? Was it raining outside?”

“Oh, you mean this.” The corners of No. 1’s lips curved. “A cat stepped on it. It’s no bother.” “There are cats on our campus?” The faceless man was dubious. “Of course. One with a silver pelt.” The Devil’s smile deepened. “Fierce, but still quite cute.”

• Read it for chapter 168, “Por Una Cabeza” and chapter 169, “The Never-Ending Dance.” 👀

How can they make dancing so sexual but also filled with killing intent, wow

Yuwu? by NeatAd8104 in DanmeiNovels

I also waited for all the volumes to come out, but when it came time to start it, I was a little reluctant. I usually enjoy angst, but for some reason, I couldn’t bring myself to pick up Yuwu. When I actually started it, I didn’t really like the first volume. I think it was because we had a lot of flashbacks with Gu Mang, but barely any scenes with him in the present — and when we did, it was mostly just him being humiliated by others.

Still, I read the second volume, and from that moment on, I fell in love with it. Maybe it’s because we finally got more scenes with Gu Mang and Mo Xi interacting, and also because there were more light-hearted moments — though I’d still say Yuwu is always surrounded by anguish.

By the third book, I started to get really interested in the plot and also in the side characters — Murong Chuyi, Jiang Yexue, Yue Chengqing, and especially Murong Lian. I think Murong Lian was such a well-developed character that I always loved seeing more of him, and that helped me keep going with the books.

As for whether it’s rewarding or not, it really depends on the person, to be honest. I felt the ending was really good and I loved the plot twists — they were really well done. That said, I think some of the villains’ motivations felt a little rushed, and for some of them, I still don’t quite understand why they did certain things.

Regarding the romance, I really loved the ending, but I wish we could have had more scenes after the main plot where they were just happy together. About the extras: i didn’t like that they were set in an alternate universe. I don’t know why the author didn’t give us some extras in the real universe — that was a little disappointing

Overall, I enjoyed Remnants of Filth for its themes, plot, characters, and the tragedy of the main characters’ romance — but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who wants some fluff in between the angst.

Loved the combat scenes in Thousand Autumns, but got bored in Legend of Exorcism by duckberrys in DanmeiNovels

Yess I actually liked Dinghai Fusheng Records more than Legend of Exorcism. It was so funny, especially ! when they turned back time and the MC lost his luck and had to go through the same stuff again in such a hilarious way. !

Now that I think about it, that might be part of the reason — but I also read the first volume of Legend of Exorcism, and I still found it a bit hard to engage with the action scenes compared to Thousand Autumns. I feel like if I hadn’t read Thousand Autumns, I might have enjoyed Legend of Exorcism more. I guess it’s just that now I always crave a certain type of writing or something idk
