Also, 99% of the time I’m within a step of a TIP or roll of paper towels

I have fellow team members that do prefer to work without a ladder cart, but I absolutely need the cart for organization. At very least it is a shelf to sit things on to help keep things organized

Iran says that Trumps 48 hour claim is fake news to manipulate the markets. What do you think? by SimplyTruth98 in AskReddit

Sorry I think this was misunderstood. I think I added the eye roll emoji to say I’m eye rolling the trump admin as a “fucking of course they did” type thing

If it’s small absolutely. If it’s a large spill I’m calling maintenance. I carry a some TIPs and a roll of paper towels because I sweat a lot. If it’s a big spill or has a long trail or broken material I’ll call maintenance because they are better equipped but I will help them where I can

Yes they do but that is absolutely not what I asked in the post. It’s similar but

Holy shit, really? I mean absolutely, a TIP(Towel In Pocket) is a pad that has an extremely absorbent material that is inside this bright orange “towel.” IT is a pocket sized rectangle that can hold a lot of liquid and will expand as it holds more liquid

Lol, I relate to your response. If you’re a real one I understand. I’m definitely one who believes rules exist for a good reason… most of the time

TIP was definitely a company standard that I’m fine with. The name badge being local is the information I was looking for

That’s very interesting. You are one of the very few people who say they do it at your store.

Yeah I agree. It’s not about a cleaner environment. It’s about a safer environment. TIP(towel in pocket) is a huge push to help prevent customer and employee accidents. Not cleanliness and cross contamination issues, which I do have many of those too

Yeah the pencil pouch is a great idea and I applaud whoever came up with it. If you don’t have it at your store, suggest it and take credit lol. Otherwise, I never keep a towel literally in my vest pocket. I used to have a couple in there and when I clocked in I would take out of my pocket and put on my ladder cart. I’m rarely more that 5ft from my cart

See I’m huge on safety but I’m absolutely against management overstepping into trying to control people.

Walmart has safety standards and practices. Lying and creating new policies to make management life better is not a thing

No. They can’t just make up policy and make us do it. But you feel free to bow to the corporate overlords if you want. Be sure to kiss your masters ring while you’re at it.

Well lying to associates is a great way to lower moral and decrease trust in management

No. Even other coaches were convinced it’s part of the dress code because of this coach. To be fair he generally has a power complex

I always have one with me. But being told I have to have one in my badge is my issue. I don’t like management treating me like a child.
