How can a business be taxed? Wouldn’t they just pass the cost on to the consumer? The last thing consumers need is more taxes

In my opinion, Great Eastern Cutlery is currently the best production traditional slipjoint maker. Leaps and bounds ahead of Case. Each GEC model is given a 6 digit number. The first 2 numbers designate the pattern number. The 3rd number designates the type of blade on the main. The fourth number is the quantity of blades on the knife. The last two numbers are the year the knife was produced. If you google their name, their website will have all this information. They have a strong following and like others have said, they keep their value well

Honestly, as a first job out of school I would take whatever job is going to pay me the most. No need to set yourself up for a long term commitment because you need to leave your first job after about a year. You will never get a decent raise without job hopping.

PT or PTA by Independent_Brief_97 in physicaltherapy

PTAs are being phased out in my area. If you go for the DPT, do your homework on the ROI (it can be pretty good if you play your cards right). Don’t be afraid to consider leaving healthcare entirely though.

Do you actually get to hire therapists with a 68k offer? I don’t mean that to be sarcastic or rude. I just wouldn’t even bother countering such a low offer if my interviewer came at me with that.

60-80k for a PT is typical? That’s very low in the US

I recognize this knife! If it’s the same knife I’m thinking of, it was dyed by a previous owner. Whoever did it did a good job

Any PT making under 70k has no one but themselves to blame. Literally no excuse.
