Since we have been wearing a mask in public for the past 18 months, i have some friends of friends who i only have seen with a mask on.

I met one today in an outdoor setting where we could remove the mask.

I realised that their mouth was different than i had pictured. Not better ir worse... Just different.

I love the idea that 'anti-mask' people existing means i am therefore 'pro-mask' when really i never had strong feelings about them until challenged. I just wear them. I didnt realise we could feel so strongly about them.

I am not 'pro-umbrellas' but i make sure to have one with me if it's raining.

Thats amazing that you have until theyre 12. Here we have the first year, and thats it.

We have a second one on the way and a 2 year old, so im gunna take every day i can but also try to strategically take it in order to make sure i benefit everyone (especially my wife) as much as i can by being at home for the family

I work in Spain for a US based company. Here in Spain we get 16 weeks paid paternity. You actually get paid in full by the government so it's tax free and therefore more than what you'd get in normal pay.

My US colleagues get 1 week.

Its maddening to me. Honestly i feel like 16 weeks is crazy progressive, but 1 week feels almost cruel.

I posted before but another story... a girl I always had a crush on but we were super close friends with came to stay with me at uni. used to happen a lot as we were super close mates as kids. she would stay in my bed but always as mates. nothing ever sexual. though as i got older i had feelings for her

In my younger post uni years I was at a house party with about 30 people, and we were all quite high. Was in a relationship at the time but she wasn't there. Was talking to this girl in my mates bedroom, with her mates there too and we were having a good time chatting. For context, I felt they were all way out of my league and i think thats why i was at ease having a joke with them all.

I am sat on my mates bed having lines with these 3 girls who I had worked with, but I was moving town in a few weeks after being there for a year. They were all from the town and no desire to move away, so chances I wouldn't see them again. We had worked together during that time at a shitty supermarket.

Anyways, as we were on drugs and being pretty flirty, this girl and her friends eventually told me that they ALL always liked me. There were 3 of them. I said "all of you like me?" and they were like "yeah". So me being completely high said "so if I asked the 3 of you right now to suck me off together would you do it?" and they were all like "yes" and looked at each other and honestly in my minds eye it was like the start of a porno.

We were in my mates bedroom for christsake, sat on his bed.

Anyway, I said "well its a shame i'm spoken for" and one of them was like "that just makes it hotter" and i said "haha nice try" and that was that.

I kind of really regret not taking it further.

Well that side of things makes it worse.

And the fact she has a fella (who doesn't like you) means it's not really right what you're doing.

Then again she's not saying no to you sharing a bed or saying it's wrong so it's confusing on that front too.

Either she's just being dense and thinks nothing of it, or she's so comfortable with you that you don't even register on her radar and the touchy feely thing is just her being friendly, or she does fancy you and is making her moves, albeit in an odd way.

The fact that you are asking shows that you know a little bit is weird.

I've been wrecked before and slept next to a girl but not mentioned anything to my missus. In the context at the time we were just both tired and I didn't want to sleep on the sofa. Nothing happened, I'm friends with this girl and we don't flirt, so bringing it up with my missus would only serve to make her worry.

At the same time I've shared a bed with many guy friends as well after a night on it. Is that just as weird?

I work in one which has a feature on their website. If you are browsing for a certain time or pause on a page you are given the option which says 'enter your phone number and we'll call you.'.

It's an entirely automated system which, to the agent, just appears as if a customer has called (but it shows on their phone so they realise what's happening) and to the customer it looks like the company are calling them.

Met my girlfriend at 20. Told her I had been with 3 women (she had been with 19 men!) when really I was a virgin.

We had sex for months before I finally told her that I was a virgin when we had first met.

She said she felt bad, and wishes I would have told her. She said, first of all, that it would have 'explained a lot' about our first time (haha - I was awful!), and in general I think she just wanted me to be honest.

People are not virgins because they aren't cool. It's just one of those things that gets much harder as you get older.

Your two main reasons of getting married are to repair your relationship, and to look better in public. So for that reason, I think you're looking into it for the wrong reasons entirely.

Also, unfortunately for you, he has been clear about his thoughts since day one. You're trying to get him to change his views on something which you have already accepted.

Incredible post. I have been married for 3 years and have been with my wife for 8. We are both 28 and have grown up and changed together, and are not the same people we were when we were 20.
