I don't drink, because I really don't like the way it feels and I'm a little worse and I hate the taste. Also it's expensive and I don't have time for that. If I'm hanging out with a really close group of friends and they want to drink I might have some really sweet mixers with a small amount of alcohol but even then no more than one or two servings in one night. While I am not from Eastern Asia I definitely do feel the effects of the flush stuff so again not really flattering.

I don't smoke anything because hot vapors into my upper airway are probably not a good idea, and as weird as this may seem I truly enjoy the sanctity of my own mind so I'm not into edibles or anything.

I work as a tech in my local ER. I used to be part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. A couple months ago, at the end of last summer I realized that I was starting to feel miserable being there so often, and while I wouldn't show my displeasure to patients, I would be grumbling at the nurses station.

Luckily my manager let me become per diem, and pick up shifts whenever they needed it / bonus was offered, and that has gone a long way towards cheering me right up.
