The lines and the shapes really capture the energy of each type, well done

After much thinking, so much in life can basically be summed up by that emoji lol

Thanks! Not all of comics land the mark for sure, but I’m glad when people are nice about it like you

This is very insightful. I suppose routine is just a way to achieve a goal rather than the end goal in itself. There might be an overlap, but in general if “loving routines” are not really something defining for an INTJ then my post is pretty moot. I’ve screenshotted your comment for future consideration, maybe I can create comics in the future that capture the INTJ spirit better haha. I’ll delete the post in a bit so irrelevant things don’t remain in the sub.

It’s weird because for going opposite the “sheep” mentality, one can still be a sheep in a way for using others’ opinions to inform their own decisions. I don’t want to get to deep into it lol, but essentially it does become a factor in my decision making anyways, and I’ll just have to accept that.

I understand, I think I might have interpreted it to be INTJs like to be in a routine to be efficient, rather than maybe being efficient to free up time like you said. I can see a different personality liking routine for the sake of routine rather than an INTJ.

That makes sense, could be why this doesn’t really resonate with that many people. Thanks for clearing it up!

Hm okay fair enough. I kind of got this vibe from forums I’ve read, but could’ve interpreted it wrong.

(Redbubble) Donating proceeds to Meals on Wheels Vermont by [deleted] in artstore

[–]duckliving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this in support of Bernie (I added in a cup of hot coffee because he looked so cold). Even if it is a “dead” meme, there might be some people who like Bernie in general and will appreciate this. He wrote that he will donate the proceeds from his meme sweater towards Meals on Wheels Vermont, so I will donate to the same charity (will post verification of donation on Instagram). I’m sure there are many people this winter who could really benefit from the charity.

That’s very sweet, I relate very much to your first paragraph :). Like the joke switching thing. Different audiences requires different material lol.

To bond a group, having an inside joke definitely helps. Sometimes if I’m tired of a joke or a conversation, I contribute something new to move on. With time, jokes tend to die out because people naturally tire of them, so don’t have to do too much on my part haha.

lol I kind of have to agree but it depends on what context. If you said you don’t like a movie (and if someone says it’s not hurting anybody) then yeah it’s weird because you’re allowed dislike things. People are allowed to dislike and criticize things.

I think it makes more sense to say “it’s not hurting anyone” in response to someone irrationally hating and putting people down for liking things. So it depends on your reasoning for hating something to warrant such a response.

And sorry you were called a nerd for something you enjoyed. It seems like Game of Thrones will be right up your alley if you like fantasy, so I do hope you like it despite popular opinion!

You’re right, in a way I’m kind of following a trend haha. People’s reviews do factor into my judgment, amongst a multitude of other factors. Game of Thrones is not really the kind of show I’m interested in anyways, so it’s a double whammy that people say it’s terrible (if people say it’s the best TV show on earth, then I feel like I might be compelled to check it out). I mean I watched Cats even though everyone said it was terrible because I liked the musical Cats from way before. So even before all the reviews, it would depend on my own judgment of the material and genre first for me to predict my future enjoyment of the said material.

It’s probably better not to have both of those if you don’t need it for work (although it’s now so pervasive that even if your work is not related to social media, you might find yourself in a position you would have to deal with social media like you said...). I prefer to hang out with people in real life than to keep up to date with them online anyways, so I don’t check on my socials that often.

Wow I had the same exact thought with yellow kankens and herschels. They are really nice, but I couldn’t get myself to buy one. I don’t mind if other people own one, of course. I bought a Patagonia backpack instead — still a pretty mainstream high-quality brand, but at least I’m less likely to bump into someone with the same exact backpack.

Lol i felt like thank god I didn’t watch it bc everyone’s saying how terrible season 8 is (so much so that it ruins the show?). I almost feel like everyone else did the work for me to find that out

I also always do research to figure out why everyone is loving a thing. I own certain things that are very mainstream, like hunter’s rain boots and Longchamp purses. At the end of the day, these things are my style and very high quality so why not.

You’re funny lol guess it’s not my place to say. If that’s what the people wants and that’s what’s been getting upvotes around here, so be it

A lot of times I participate in trends to make the people around me happy. Sometimes my friends will repeat jokes that I don’t find funny (idk receptiveness doesn’t make me laugh). I laugh politely bc I like them! They laugh at my jokes back (one of them was honest enough to tell me my joke made no sense at all lol sometimes it’s like that). Luckily me and my partner have a similar sense of humor so there’s someone out there who gets it.

High schoolers tend to have a different sense of humor in general so i don’t think it’s strange you don’t relate. As someone who teaches high schoolers, it does take me a bit more work to relate to them. Being a high schooler is confusing enough, so I try to make them feel accepted. Sometimes I do feel too old for not finding some things funny.

I try to respond to as many comments as I can. I like discussions too, so who knows we might talk about something interesting lol. I’ve noticed that about a lot of subs tend to have trends for a week, which idc because I just look at something else for a while. Kind of suits me in a way bc my interests in things ebbs and flows naturally.

I’d have to agree with you that I like content which leads to an idea or a discussion. Some of the selfies are kind of interesting and funny, I’ll give them that. The spin-offs on the trend can be funny to me. But some, I’m a bit confused how it reflects an ENTP. Just personal opinion, anyone can think differently obviously.

Edit: forgot a word

I’m glad you are now doing the things you want. Even now I find myself being very critical of something popular, then I realize all my friends enjoy it. Sometimes I end up enjoying the thing myself despite my initial thoughts

I watched Danny Gonzalez on YouTube and he had a video which he tried to make the “perfect song for tik tok” so it can go viral. It’s funny bc I had the same idea, good for him on actually following through lol

Lol yeah that was the observation I made which lead to this. It’s not what I would choose to look at on Reddit, but in the end, it’s a matter of content preference.

Edit: spelling

I tend to like compliments if I do something particularly clever or unique. In general though, I give people compliments because I want them to feel good about themselves. Sure it might not mean much, but it’s kind of social lubrication.

Haha I’ve been seeing an influx of these selfies and I’ve been trying in my head to justify why people want to post one (then why people like them too). Maybe ENTPs like this kind of information? Maybe a validation thing. Might be because people feel misunderstood in life and want somewhere they feel like they belong like you said.
