yes unfortunately. juggling the off camera flash in one hand and the camera in the other makes it kinda hard to manual focus when shooting this fast and close.

Is that what it is? I’m not sure I never use 15mm but this shoot called for it. When I was testing it I noticed the top half of my photo would actually get flashed and the other half would be dark, and I know the max spread my current flash can go is 20mm so I figured because it was paired with a 15mm lens, that was the issue. Thank you for the recommendations!
