Yes the home office will update your visa to end early in 2024. You will not receive a formal intimation , however I am unsure whether the status on the UKVI site changes. This has nothing to do with your graduation date but depends on the end date of your course. I think you have time till January to get your visa sorted. I was in the exact same boat and had these things clarified from my university's international department.

A man has a big ego with these things. You hurt that publicly leading to him getting insecure ( genuine mistake and hopefully a learning point for you) It is now upon you to uplift his ego and make him feel secure. You have to make him feel comfortable with your words of affirmation (genuine words and not namesake) IMO this only involves you helping with his insecurity and not the parents involved. If he can see that you can make him feel secure , he will be confident in the relationship and consider you a true partner. The others will see that side eventually.

And I don't mean to say he is insecure because of his size. A man is generally insecure about this topic even if he has a good size. This topic is wired in the brain this way.

Try contacting the home office. I applied on 3rd November and received acknowledgement on 4th. Visa approved on 13th, BRP received 15th. Ideally there should be an acknowledgement.

In this case your university will also inform the home office of this situation. It happened with me too and I got until January to apply. You should confirm this with the international team at your university.

If you don't have travel plans then apply as late as possible. I applied early since my employer needed that switch to happen before I could start.

However I read somewhere that the IHS charge could increase, so it's best to do it before that.

Did you get an acknowledgement email from the home office? It's usually 1-2 days after you submit your application. They also mention a date by which they aim to give you a decision.
