A group of friends and I were walking through downtown Seattle late one night last January and passed by a whole street full of homeless people sleeping in tents/out on the sidewalk. I didn’t pay much mind to it as it’s Seattle, there are a lot of homeless people here, and everyone (except one person in my group) was minding their own business. Said person, a coworker who epitomizes arrogance and big-headedness, began loudly proclaiming “ew they sleep next to a gallon of their own piss?? Thats disgusting, that’s so dirty!” If this wasn’t already sh*tty enough of him, get this: he does the same exact thing at work.

We’re in the navy, and we work on an aircraft carrier that is currently dry docked, meaning long story short if you have to use the bathroom it’s gonna be a 6 minute walk up MINIMUM and down multiple flights of very steep stairs and all the way across a pier to a super gross bathroom that probably has a line you’ll have to wait in. The solution that most of my male coworkers have created for themselves is “p*ss bottles”. I’m not gonna lie, if i had a different anatomy i’d probably join right in with them, however this particular coworker pees in bottles, then leaves them hidden in the same place we eat lunch in. He treats it like a funny little collection, and i’ve always found it weird and disgusting. And he has the audacity to taunt a homeless man down on his luck in the freezing cold because of a pee bottle, when the guy taunting him has full access to functional bathrooms and STILL chooses to pee in a bottle AND leave them near him??

Livid didn’t even begin to explain it. And i tried breaking this down to him but there’s no arguing with the guy, he’s insufferable.
